  1. Why did Conte bring Michy on?! He was dogshit last week and Morata was doing fine. Not someone to lead a line and not good enough for Chelsea. Only played well with two up top. I'd rather Abraham.
  2. YOU STUPID FUCKING PRICK MICHY, STUPID BAKO
  3. Willian and Moses off for Pedro and Boga/Musonda please. Musonda could really expose their slow defenders if given a chance. Pace for days.
  4. Willian doing an impression of Mikel as a winger there, loves slowing down the play and a backpass.
  5. He has won the ball in midfield quite a bit in the second half to be fair, more than Bako or Kante. We just can't get any sort of possession. Willian and Moses not helping much with not being able to keep the ball for very long, or supporting Morata.
  6. I have faith that Don Conte will get things right at half time. He generally does.
  7. Christensen getting isolated and done for pace a few times now, he seems more suited to the middle of the three.
  8. Certainly showed a glimpse there of what he can bring with that run...
  9. What about Wanyama on Moses earlier on? No card or anything just because it's 'early in the game'. Now we get all the yellows of course. Load of fucking bullshit.
  10. Dier with another foul, yeah, just let him do what he wants.
  11. Oh fuck right off, if one of ours made a challenge like that it would have been a red! Kane as well last week. Fuck these refs man. Fuck the FA. No consistency.
  12. Not if Roberto Martinez has anything to do with it... Looking to injure him...again.
  13. We are slowly meandering towards Michael Hector and Papy Djilobodji territory....
  14. The only way this makes ANY sense is if Azpi is to be deployed as a RWB and/or Cahill is being brought out to pasture (unlikely). Considering his price and injury record, it still makes the least amount of sense compared to LITERALLY ANY OTHER POSITION ON THE PITCH.
  15. Yeah, it's literally the last on a list of the very last a very general, nondescript tab called 'The Site'.... I don't think you need to be an expert to know that someone new to the site would likely never see that and never know that the site is mainly a forum. Betting tabs are ahead of it... @Jim I'm not complaining, I'm just trying to help. I just want any newbies to know that we are also a forum - makes them stick around longer. If you would like me to do a UX review, I'd be more than happy to help.
  16. The slant of the interview certainly allows people to take some pity on him. However, the situation is still the same. He wants out but wants Atletico and Atletico only. Chelsea want the minimum going rate for a 20+ goals striker. Atletico have a transfer ban until January and want a lower fee. Chelsea do not care about their ban and would sell to whoever meets the price. Listening to Costa, you would swear things are very straightforward when they are not. He is not making things easy at all and hasn't done since January. In many ways, I am sad to see him go, mainly because he is the one who has instigated the move with his behaviour and desire to go back Atletico. Conte should have never sent the text in the first place, it gave Diego exactly what he was looking for: the perfect excuse. He has acted like a child since and proved Conte's reasoning in many ways. Now I just want him to leave.
  17. Simply put, he has become motivated again. However, either his motivation or stamina will eventually fade at points during the season. I think we could all see he was not the same player after we won the title the first time. Performing against teams like West Ham was never really an issue with him anyway. People have a point when mentioning his stamina issue and being out-played. His 'performance' against Arsenal in the cup final was honestly one of the worst displays I have ever witnessed from a Chelsea player. For some reason, he was pressing high (as if he was Kante) and was completely useless. It was embarassing how poor he was. These performances were becoming more frequent in his last 18 months. It would be very useful to have him now, no doubt. However, for such a gangly and slow-ish player he is surprisingly reliant on his movement around the pitch and is now approaching 30. I would not bet on him having as good a season as he's had for us in the past. In the long term, I think we sold him at the right time in many ways. In the short term, I don't think we sold him at the right time of the month or at the right price. We should have hung on to him for as long as possible and not let United have such a settled 11 before us at the start of the season. He can also be the difference of them challenging for the title and that is worth well more than what we sold him for... I think United will get a solid year or two out of him before the shades of decline turns into a rapid descent. Mourinho never really is one for 'planning for the future'.
  18. Here come all the cretins United fans crawling out from their caves they hid in after the Super Cup...sigh.
