Ah, you're a champ! In the second part though you've to do some price ratings on a scale of Euros, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it I suppose!

Good job kid. Way to prove my point.

Anyone feel like helping me out by doing a few surveys? They're to do with my final year project in psychology for Uni and the subject is interesting, I promise! It's to do with consumer behaviour. The first one takes less than 5 minutes and the second takes about 20mins, but you have to watch YouTube for half of it basically! Yay! The second part is done a few days later though. The only thing is that I need an email so I can match up the two sets of data (It'll be used for nothing else, I promise. I'm actually bound by my University to protect any data received). If you're cool with that and the surveys, let me know and i'll PM you the link to the first one!

And your short, sarcastic, bitchy, aggro-laden posts drag the quality of this forum down. Stop acting like your little statements on your signature give you some sort of divine right or opinion. Grow the fuck up.

'How to ruin a good corner' by Mikel. Someone should've told him we weren't trying to defend that last one.
-
We used to be such a threat from set-pieces...
-
Talking about buying him? Seriously? Sturridge is the past. Whoever we buy in the summer (and no, never in a million years will it be Daniel) along with Lukaku (imagine him at Daniel's age?) is the future. Now can we all just move on? Jesus...

It won't be permanent, but it'll be for quite a while. The state of deterioration in their team is off the charts. Though our team was stagnant in the 10/11 and 11/12 seasons, we still had some quality players (Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Cech etc.). They on the other hand need their entire defence and centre-midfield to be gutted. They would even need a squad player or two up front when the likes of Nani moves on. We also had the massive windfall of the CL victory and subsequent CL qualification to aid our rebuilding process - United don't have that. They also have an incompetent idiot for a manager. As long as Moyes is there, it'll take even longer for them to get back anywhere near where they once were. I can only imagine the outcome if he is actually allowed to rebuild that club...absolute catastrophe, and I fucking hope they let him do it!

If you think that was bad, look at him in this one! He's actually laughing and smiling! http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26112250

My thoughts pretty much. We all know full well what he is capable of. We've watched him in every game for the past two years and I can safely say that the Mata I saw today certainly wasn't our Mata. Nothing to do with form or fitness or anything like that; no, this was Mata who was clearly under the orders of an absolute idiot - David Moyes. I'm not really sure what their gameplan was other that to lump it into the box at every possible opportunity like Stoke, but Mata looked lost. No real understanding yet with his teammates, but it didn't really matter because they just seemed to bypass him a lot of the time when he moved centrally. I know he's better than Kagawa, but you can kind of understand his plight now as well. United don't know how to use players like Mata because they've been so obsessed with wingers for the past two decades. He's also restricted due to Shrek taking up his position. My United friend was saying that he has a 'free role' similar to Silva at City where he drifts in from the left and I laughed! A 'free role' is not 'free on the right and don't get in Wayne's way'. As long as he and Moyes are at there I don't see them ever getting the best out of him.

Just such an embarrassment of a man. I feel embarrassed just watching this for christ sake (and then i laugh! ), fuck knows how United fans put up with him! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G41q5rJ2cJM

Mata is looking clueless to be honest. Wait, I take that back...Mata looks like someone who is being dictated to by David Moyes. He effect on the game is zero...as I say this, he just crossed from deep, but United are looking like Stoke at the moment - lumping balls into the box from all angles. Anyway, it looks like he has no understanding with his team-mates at the moment and Moyes hasn't a clue how to use him....which is a little bit sad for Juan, but it's still all very hilarious!

Very nervous it seemed but he got into good scoring positions, so it was a decent enough debut. He looks very adept at getting in behind defences with that ridiculous pace. A lot of players as fast as he is can end up running around rather aimlessly, but his timing of runs seemed very good. That run in between the two CBs was brilliant. It's the sort of run that can cause absolute chaos at the back. If he was to improve his finishing I think we may have a little gem on our hands!

quick question regarding Chelsea top printing
The Mak replied to Rhonin's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
That's it Steve, bring in new members using guilt! Anyway you can get 'em! -
If those comments are true, a year next to one of the best keepers in the world ought to teach him something about respect and how to carry yourself. He's a big fish in a little pond right now - if he comes here next season José and Cech will teach him some humility.
-
Not even that, sometimes it just looks like he doesn't give a flying fuck at all about the club we love, so we wouldn't people have a go at him? I don't know why some people think they're taking some moral high-ground by saying 'stop moaning about Torres' when it seems like they just want to have a moan about moaning? Seriously? And saying stuff like Torres 'works his bollocks off'...wtf like? Am I supposed to be thankful for a player running around a bit? Even though he's shown absolute fuck all interest a lot of the time and has been disrespectful on the biggest night of our history? I don't understand these people. If people want to have a moan about Torres, then who gives a shit? People are well within their rights. If people don't like it then they shouldn't come in here; instead of coming in to moan about moaning ffs!
-
Exactly. He's done, finished. We just have to accept him for what he is for now, wait until he's shipped on so this whole thing can be put to bed and his big fat stupid wages can be put to better use...like giving Billy the masseur a raise.
-
People still trying to defend Torres? ....sorry, did I just step back into 2012?

Who would you sign to lead the line at Chelsea?
The Mak replied to Melanicus's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Cavani, no question. He has it all - strength, finishing, poaching, aerial threat, long distance shot, teamwork, stamina. I've been crying out for us to get him ever since we came up against him in 2012. He was our ready-made replacement for Drogba. I suppose Costa afterwards, but I still have my doubts about him. Benzema is also a good shout, but would he suit? Wouldn't be the best at pressing would he? Mandzukic wouldn't be bad either when it comes down to it. A real team player who isn't afraid to get stuck in and not bad at all in front of goal. A great cheapish back-up option that I think we'd get if we fail with any of our main targets. -
Not sure if this has been posted before, but this is the running distance covered by everyone on the pitch: Would you look at who ran the most! And we thought no one would ever be able to out-run Ramires! My word, he gets about for a big fella doesn't he?!
-
We don't really have a specialist anymore and I hope we acquire one in the summer. It really would be a shame to have it as our weakness going forward - especially when you compare some of the teams around us who seem to have them in abundance: Yaya, Silva, Kolarov, RVP, Rooney, Mata, Suarez, Coutinho, Gerrard etc. can all take consistently great, sometimes, WC set-pieces. Then you look at Willian being unable to beat the first man for a corner for about the third time in one game, it's disheartening! It's something that we're really lacking right now. For now I would say Hazard/Oscar. Luiz is waaaaaay too inconsistent. So many times he doesn't even hit the target.

Lol at this btw. I see everyone else has taken you to task over City's spending, but do not compare Lukaku talking to the media and José talking to the media. It is José's job to talk to the media. It is also his job to protect his team any way he can and to gain an advantage any way he can - he does this through the media. The fact that he even has you complaining about it shows the effect it can have; no one was talking about his players. They were left to concentrate on tonights game and they executed everything perfectly. However, it is not in Lukaku's job description to piss and moan about Chelsea (saying stupidly unnecessary things about wanting to outscore our strikers etc.) at another club while still under contract at Chelsea - the club he asked to leave.
