Ake is good enough. Whether or not he gets a chance depends on our next manager.
-
Italian clubs were interested in him on a free...but now that he signed a 1-yr deal, get ready to see Ivanovic as Chelsea's starting RB in 2016/2017
-
I didn't start the comparison. I was simply discussing the players mentioned by the Mak. Also, when you think about it Stones, Alli and Barkley were in the same position as Bamford (just 1-2 seasons ago). Stones was a Championship prospect, Alli was a Championship prospect, and Barkley was considered to be a Championship/PL prospect. They established themselves as starters because the manager believed in them and because Everton/Spurs look to be building for the future. My main point was that Bamford would be better off going to the Championship (scoring regularly, impressing scouts) than waiting around Chelsea reserves and hoping Hiddink gives him a shot
-
Bamford is no where near Shaw, Stones, Alli, Sterling or Barkley in terms of quality. (you may need to take off the blue-tinted glasses) I don't need a crystal ball to say that Bamford should be sold to a Championship club, where he can thrive.
-
How is it great news? He's probably the only player worth buying in January as we need goals!
-
Injured Pato > Bamford
-
He's got talent but he's still learning in the Bundesliga. He'll put in a 8/10 performance for 1-2 games then go missing for a few games (sort of like one of Chelsea's current midfielders)
-
He should of gone on loan to the Championship rather than sticking around with the Chelsea reserves.
-
We thumped them 4-1 because Guus had quality players throughout the team. We had Lampard & Essien in midfield, and that front-line of Anelka, Drogba, Malouda was so powerful. Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa (Ivanovic 77), Alex, Terry, Ashley Cole, Essien, Mikel, Lampard, Anelka, Drogba, Malouda (Ballack 88). Our current team is no match for the Chelsea of 2009.
-
Well...if we played like a team, we wouldn't be stuck in 14th spot on the ladder. Unfortunately, we have too many overpaid individuals
-
We're not going to sign 8 new players in one transfer window. Realistically, I'd be happy with 1 new fullback, 1 new CB and a new midfielder.
-
If Costa is fit, we'll get a draw.
-
I think that game at Stamford Bridge where Mourinho subbed him on and then subbed him off within 20 minutes ruined him mentally. He was the star of our midfield last season and now he can't even put in a 6/10 performance (apart from the Kiev games)
-
Bamford should be sold as I don't think he'll ever be good enough for Chelsea.
-
Signing Rudi Garcia would be like giving AVB a second chance...bottom line: neither of them are good enough to be manager of Chelsea fc. The only options I see out there: Simeone, Pellegrini, Rodgers, Conte (after euro-2016), De Boer (would require a massive shake up)

Awesome actor throughout the Harry Potter series. I'll never forget that final scene of Snape and Potter
-
If only Oscar had a bit more vision and flair to his game, he would be able to take that next step and become a consistent threat in our attack As for RLC, it's obvious that the manager and coaching staff rate his potential but as Mourinho said in pre-season, RLC has to work harder off the ball if he wants to break through at Chelsea
-
Why would Stones want to join us? We're in a mess, no UCL football next season, no quality manager lined up, no distinct playing style
-
There's no point signing Chicharito, he would be ineligible to play for another club as he has already played for two clubs (United and Leverkusen) this season.
-
Hopefully Juve are still interested in him...
-
Time to give Kenedy a run in the team, he's always done well when called upon
-
If Bamford was to play for Chelsea against West Brom, he wouldn't be able to play for another club this season.
-
How are they run? Because from what I've seen, most EPL clubs have given a chance to at least one youngster/reserve in this round of the FA Cup. I hope for Hiddink's sake, none of our key players get injured...otherwise, we could be screwed for the rest of the season
-
Great to see Solanke amongst the goals. If he doesn't make it, we may as well shut down the academy
-
Coming to an EPL club as an unproven youngster may be career suicide but you can't blame a 16 or 17 year old kid for moving to England and gaining access to a nice pay packet, good living conditions as well as a decent social life outside of football. I hope for Charly Musonda's sake, he proves himself on loan and earns a permanent move away from Chelsea. He'll be wasted like Pogba if he stays here
