Hopefully we can continue the good form and get the win. Sunderland have been good this season, won't be easy!
-
We signed two squad players and both of them are out till December/January (Delap/Essugo) 😄
-
It would be interesting to see if Facundo was registered for UCL. If so, he could play the 10 and then Gittens - Estevao on the wings with Neto off the bench.
-
Liverpool just getting a bit of payback from the football gods for forcing Newcastle to sell Isak. 😆
-
Happy to see Josh get minutes and also good to see that the club didn't sell him off in the window (Bournemouth and a few other clubs were quite keen for a permanent deal).
-
We started with a makeshift midfield who haven't really played together, fully expected Forest to get on top and get an early goal. Thankfully they left their shooting boots at home! We could have paid Villa for Rogers instead of Garnacho and Gittens.
-
Hopefully Caicedo, Enzo are all right. Interesting midfield setup
-
I just hope that Caicedo gets a breather every now and then, so important to the midfield. If only Santos was fit, we need that depth and Essugo is also out for ages.
-
If he's like Hazard and gives us amazing memories for around 5 seasons, wins the PL and other trophies and then wants to try something new, that would be fine. Every player has a dream and from what I've seen South American players typically enjoy playing in La Liga at some point in their careers. Feels like it is inevitable that Estevao and Enzo will ask for moves to Spanish clubs at some point
-
Hopefully not too long, one of our crucial players in the back line
-
I'd be surprised if he doesn't go back to Spurs for 1-2 seasons so that he can go for Shearer's record
-
Credit goes to the team, super strike from Caicedo and then ESTEVAO getting his first goal for the club, what a time to do it! Who would have thought we would beat Liverpool with 4 fullbacks on the pitch 😆 That's 3 losses in a row for Slot!
-
we also got a red card today 😄
-
That's about as likely as Sterling somehow returning to the first team when Pedro picks up a red card and George gets injured from too much running around and we have no-one available to play up front 😄
-
Forest didn't win again...their next 2 fixtures: Newcastle away, then us at home (hope Maresca is ready!)
-
0% in 30+ age group I wonder what the squad breakdown percentage was when Mourinho won those titles or when Conte helped us win the league.
-
He had 12 starts in 23 PL games last season, pretty similar. Probably to help manage his fitness. Bayern, United, Brighton were all starts, so makes sense to give a rest against Benfica.
-
JP is more of a 10/supporting striker, honestly feel like he'd do way better alongside another experienced striker up top.
-
I know @Vesper is a big fan of the current Liverpool backup keeper! It really is a shame that the Valencia keeper (can't spell his name), Donnarumma, Maignan and even Chevalier were all available in the transfer window and yet the club really thought Sanchez + Jorgensen would be enough to compete for top 4 this season.
-
Lol Reece can't start every game and Gusto has never been a good defender, maybe in a few years time with experience he'll get better.
-
Seems like a very lazy list, including names such as Nagelsmann, Conte, Ancelotti, Simeone. Glasner would be interesting. Iraola will be managing a top 6 side sooner or later.
-
Sesko broke his duck
-
Wonder if Guiu finally gets some minutes or if he goes with George for another cardio session
-
He can run at pace but thats about it Dortmund laughing at the transfer fee they were able to get for such a limited player.
-
Not surprising, was able to catch the last 30-35 minutes and it was a scrappy game. At least the players tried the counter-attack and Gittens has the pace, just doesn't know what to do with the ball when he gets near the box, had 2 chances to cut inside and put in a cross or even shoot but kept the ball too long. Good to see Badiashile get some minutes Liverpool will be all over us, especially after two losses.
