Been poor, can't understand why he's playing so bad after being great last season

I agree with you, technique and brains over anything. Look at payet and mahrez, all technical and intelligent and they are tearing the league apart. We need that level of quality and intelligence in our team.

Keylor Navas was world class tonight. No one could beat him from the near post or middle, he closed down chances quickly. He's really underrated

I wouldn't say he's overrated, he just needs to have matches where he's unstoppable and not concede anything at all. For example, his best match is against PSG last season, he made so many saves but still conceded. Apart from the manutd 0-0 match where both him and degea were good, I'm struggling to remember a match where he made lots of saves and still kept a clean sheet.

His reflex is good but, degea, neuer, bravo and even keylor navas are monsters in reflexes. Courtois just needs to stop conceding at the near post to put my mind at ease

I absolutely hate keepers to be beaten at the near post, in fact that's why I consider mignolet a terrible keeper, I hope Courtois brushes off this near post syndrome.

Cech is no neuer but he's far better than Courtois in distribution. I don't think you realize how bad Courtois is at distributing the ball. He's also so slow at closing down people at his near post. Every single time a goal sneaks in. Courtois needs to have a man of the match performance while keeping a clean sheet. He can play so well but always ends up conceding somehow, very frustrating.

Eden is nothing like Oscar. He had one world-class ability, which is dribbling. But this season, he has lost his speed and confidence which has exposed how ordinary the rest of his abilities are. But Oscar isn't world-class at anything, he's average in every football attribute.

He doesn't depend on speed so he'll more or less be the same player for a while. The only problem with the age for him would be stamina. But he's too creative for us not to take a gamble.
