He didnt get any clear chance, he just had 2 long distance freekicks, on shot from distance. I cant remember any clear chance he had. Lescott was tackling and pulling his shirt all game.

Mancity did it. As long as suarez is not the one getting the clear chances, we have a chance.

The number of interceptions Luiz makes is criminally underrated. He plays a vital part in the quick transitions and speed of our play

We just need to tie down suarez. The rest of their players are on the same level with our strikers when it comes to finishing chances

Its a good idea. But you cant help but feel frustrated when they play bad. You will want to sub them off and give the next one a chance to prove himself. But i wish we could stick to how we used them in october: Torres against the big teams where we put pressure on the defence and counter attack with pace, Eto against the small teams that park the bus where we need his movement(better movement than the rest of our strikers), Ba against the physical teams.

He had a very good team. Hulk in the wing, moutinho as the creative CM that we never had, Guarin as their box to box who we want to buy now, and Falcao of all people in their strike. 4 players who will walk into our team against a benfica side who lost david luiz and lost ramires earlier. Falcao was a big game changer so the Europa league was a walk in the park with falcao to score every single chance people like eto miss. He had players who helped him and i dont think he has had that strong a team again in England.

Good question..... i dont like martinez, lewandoski is a fool to want to play for a coach that prefers a false nine, so the only available striker will be costa.... still he might just like athletico more this season.

I just watched some videos of him. I think he's a good dribbler. Not suarez level but can get away from the last man like drogbas style. His finishing is good though. But i kind of dont like him since he made that decision to play for spain, not that i should care though but still.....
