My Opinion: The Ideal worst case scenario for me is; Get a minimum of 13 points from 18 from the six league games. Get a minimum of six points from the three champions league games. Win the one match in the capital one cup against ManU. I'd luv to see us win them all but that will surely be a record and records are hard to make. So if RDM exceeds my ideal minimum scenario ill put him on same level as mourinho in my diary of great managers

Unleash our three musketeers and we win this 1-3

Malouda was once a very good player for chelsea but so was makelele, ballack, joe cole, Geremi ngita, celestine babayaro and drogba but they all left when no longer needed so please close this thread malouda is as good as dead for chelsea fc not even paulo ferrerer can console him. He should hve gotten a new club by now against january has he?

What I said: Players like hazard and mata are MORE easy to come by compared to oscar(who is really good at simply football and always looks up) or lampard (who is one of his kind)

Talents like hazard and mata are more easy to come by. hell if we ever sell hazard (that means d offer was irresistible) we can always buy neymar or if we sell mata we can always buy santi cazorla from Arsenal or Goetze from dortmund, but if we loose oscar(a very rare kind of talent much like Lampard) who do we buy???. But the chelsea that I know will not sell any 1 of those players because only barca has been a bigger club than us in recent years and they are stuffed up with too much talent to care about our's.

@ Kinol wrote: If we want someone to press upfront, why dont we just but Ramires as a CF and let him run and press all night long, and if we want someone who can link up well with the others we can put Hazard there and have Moses, Oscar and Mata behind him. The thing im trying to tell you is that we have a striker mainly because we want those major striker attributes in our teams, some which i think Torres lacks My opinion: Its obvious that sme pple do not understand the trends of a good modern striker. Torres has struggled at chelsea but now he is scoring goals sme people don't know better but to be sacarstic. Every one wants falcao but who is to say he will not faulter like sheva or initially torres. Note: sheva is one of the all time greats in champions league history and torres has wrecked havoc on just about every big club or country there is. What I am saying is we shuld not go for already made strikers anymore but build on what we have I.e sturridge and lukaku and if at all we need a good striker we shuld not pay over the odds. At the moment chelsea is as creative as we can hope for so falcao has nothing new to offer us even if he is more prolific than torres as we have sturridge who is also very prolific.

The energy hazard provides alone in attack is crazy, switching from wing to wing and through the midfield like a bull looking for a red flag. I luv this guy and in my opinion only ribery and Ronaldo provide such robust energy in attack.
-
Torres positioning has obviously become better in the last few games but then again it could be because we've recently played more creative players around him. If fans want falcao I can understand but cavani? plssss wat are u thinking??? While falcao is a great individual striker I stll think without torres link up play our other players might not score as much and his forward pressing is very good. These two qualities I think falcao and cavani don't possess as much as torres. To cut it shot falcao and cavani might be better goal scorers but torres is a better team player something our coach has always stressed.

I really need to Re-watch this game bcoz I was guilty of ball watching!!! Lol. Can't say who did wat
-
Everyone is talking about Mata(great player) but oscar is doing great as well and where it not for some poor finishing he will have had a couple of assists too in his last 2 games. I luv him because I think he is a also a big game player like drodga. By the way that 50 yard through pass to Mata was just sublime and criminal for a 21 year old kinda reminds me of a young lampard at his best.
-
I don't see us winning this one (except we are at our very best) but I don't see us loosing either so if we don't win it will definitely be a draw. Bale and dembele are so much of a threat. A draw will be a good result. The Key to a win for me will be cahill for JT, cesar for ivanovic, ramires for lampard this is bcoz tottenham have so much pace in attack and defense. Definitely one of our toughest games to win this season although we can get a draw quite easily.
-
So any line ups yet?
-
Its one thing if we miss JT in the upcoming clashes against spurs and manu but another thing loosing ashley cole too. Y the hell does he have to take to twitter when he knows that's the last place to say your feelings as a footballer. I DON'T LIKE THIS ONE BIT.

Eden and oscar are potentially ballon d'or winners depending on what they achieve with club and country. Who knows, chelsea might have just signed two future greats at a very young age. Could be fearsome playing against both eden and oscar at their very best in 2-3 years time(although they already are) oh and there will still be the small mata to contend with too.

Just to support @Gilvorak for his observance Torres stats: 11 Games played , 5 Goals compared to 11 Goals in 36 Starts last season Goals contributed to: vs mancity (Torres-sturridge-bertrand scores the rebound), vs Reading (Torres-Hazard-ivanovic scores), vs N.castle(Torres won a penalty Hazard scores), vs wolves(Torres-mata scores) vs Arsenal(Torres won a free kick mata scores), vs nordsjaelland (involved in three of the goals) In conclusion TORRES has scored 5 goals in eleven games(0.45 per game) and has contributed (either directly as assist or indirectly as the passer before the assist) to 8 goals this season making him a very significant contributor to 13 goals(1.2 per game) out of the total of 25 goals chelsea fc have scored so far this season. Therefore to all torres critics in chelsea just know that he has contributed to more than half of chelsea goals this season. Now shut the fuck up and be glad that he is getting absolutely better. Stats never LIE...we luv TORRES our first and only false9

? ........Cech....... Cesar..cahill..luiz..cole ....Romeu...lamps Moses...marin....Hazard ........Torres..... (@? edetarod no offence, but this line up sucks)??? I actually think this line up is perfect for this game what better way is there to test our strength in depth in Epl than against Norwich at stamford bridge, this will help us to know how we rotate the squad with a hell lot of tough fixtures coming soon and all at once. Resting oscar mata and ramires who imo are very key members of the squad still leaves us with a pretty strong team but untested yet. Hence my curiosity to see this line up.
-
Its surprising how strong chelsea look after the players we have lost in the past 2-3 years. Every one talks about arsenal loosing their star players well so have we, although not as much but we still maintain our level at the very top. We've adapted well loosing players like ballack anelka j.cole makelele and now drogba kalou malouda essien. I think chelsea fc is still among the top 4 clubs in europe I.e including Barca Bayern R.madrid/ManU despite the players we've lost. But then let's wait and see.

I don't see the problem people are seeing with ivanovic as no defender is perfect and as for me he has been as solid as any right back in the world right now both in attack and defense. Prove me wrong!!!
-
I think this line up is similar to mourinho's last line up for madrid where he played khedira(ramires) modric(lampard) and ozil(oscar). And they won 5-1 against deportivo so a similar score would do us no harm all things being equal.

How about we out score Arsenal like this; Ivanovic Cahill Luiz Cole Romeu .......Oscar Moses.....Hazard ........Mata .....Torres
-
-------------Cech--------------- --Ivan--Luiz--Terry-- Cole-- ------Oscar ---Ramires------ --Moses----------------------Hazard-- ------ Mata------- -----------Torres ------------ when we are 3-0 up then we can bring in the new lads
-
yea....like mourinho's return will guarantee us UCL or EPL??? i dont think so. Right now RDM is the man and is proving to be so.
