  1. True talk . But moses is very vital on the wings for chelsea (Look at the impact he has made as a substitute winger) and is not yet as prolific as dumbia so i guess we need another moses(seydou dumbia) as a striker.
  2. I luv mourinho but RDM won us the champions league and is top of the league.
  3. Torres is No.(No) 9. Am tired of making excuses for him and lukaku should return in january. I don't want cavani bcoz I don't trust his ability. Falcao would be nice but he will be too expensive and is already 27 I would want a strong and not yet so popular striker who we can build into our team to replace drogba. Therefore I want seydou dumbia. He is young, strong, skillful and prolific.
  4. Having watched arsenal dominate city today to draw 1-1 at the etihad, I'am certainly more worried about our trip to emirate this weekend.
  5. Juan mata is a good player but when we are talking of best player in our team we should look at players that also have an automatic starting role in strong national teams like hazard and oscar(mata doesn't). And for my money I bet hazard will give iniesta/silva/pedro a run for their money in terms of starting role if he played for spain but also oscar would in my opinion reduce xavi's playing time tremendously if he ever played for spain. Notwithstanding and without a doubt oscar will become our best player bcoz he is the most complete of three I mentioned. By complete I mean his ability to shoot from range, defend, control games by bossing the midfield as he has shown for brasil, technically very efficient and has extraordinary confidence and so much more to offer in every area of the pitch. I also believe there are things he can do that we honestly haven't seen yet but will see in time. Hazard and mata we know what they can offer but OSCAR we can't comprehend at the moment.
  6. I think this is d best line up for chelsea right now 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1. RB(Iva),LB(cole),CB(cahill and luiz), CM(oscar and ramires), LM(Hazard), RM(Moses),2nd striker(mata), No.9(Torres). What do you think?
  7. oooooh just shut the F..ck up, relax and watch chelsea MURDER stoke city. What a line up.
  8. On current evidence Oscar looks better than kaka, more like Zidane because of his understanding of basic football skills and unlike both he still only 21.
  9. The problem with torres is that I think he should be converted to a right winger as he did ok in that position last season. He has energy/good work rate, a little pace these days and is still very skillful or wants to be and probably one of the best passers in our team which will be useful for crosses into the box. Food for thought for RDM. Hazard/mata on the left, Torres instead of ramires on the right. Sturridge in the centre forward for now but FALCAO in january would perfect.
  10. In my country chelsea is BOSS bcoz of their resilience.
  11. Its obvious that the closest thing we have to a false 9 is PIAZON young as he might be he has been tried there by RDM in pre season against PSG(which he scored), also seattle and major league all stars. I think he is our silent 3rd striker after sturridge that RDM never mentions. He might be young but he has talent and a good understanding of the game(watch his one two pass with ramires before he scores PSG). Imho I think he is worth the try in capital one cup since sturridge might not be rushed. If you think he is too young Just look at sterlin aged 17 at liverpool

  13. I find it awkward when people say OSCAR might not b used bcoz he is small. Fact is, he is much taller and stronger than mata. I will like to see mata back in the team I've missed his clever runs and passing but I guess the selection headache starts for RDM now that every one is fit. I also find it interesting that so all our MOTM performances have been from our new stars.
  14. Chelsea will win this hopefully but we should be more attacking. Imho I think attacking is our greatest strength right now since we are faulty defensively. I'd like to see same defense but romeu and ramires in holding midfield for fluidity. Oscar in 10 .hazard and moses on the wings and torres in front. Sturridge, marin, mata should start vs wolves.
  15. Did any one notice that had ramires still been on the second juve gaol might not have been. All that space and time marchisio had to give that through pass at the right of our midfield with no one to close him down was non-existent when ramires was still in the game. I believe that's the need for balance RDM always talks about. I believe in RDM because we more than held our own against a very strong team and YES without DROGBA the legend.
  16. Not "forgone" but in "perspective".The Shaktar threat will become clearer sooner for us in our back2back games with them rather than latter for juventus as it is their last game and away too so their game at home to shaktar is a must win and much tougher than our corresponding trip to denmark on same day. I recon we should win in denmark and go some points ahead of either shaktar or juve before our 2 leg showdown with the threat shaktar. For an experienced champions league team like chelsea we know what it means(win shaktar back2back and we are through never mind nordsjaelland as our last game at home)
  17. I admire juventus mentality of not loosing which is what i single out to their case for deserving the draw but as for statistics, chelsea fc have beaten better teams with better statistics than juve (its in our DNA) so it is rare to see chelsea play well and come out with less than a win infact its just as rare as juve loosing this days if not more...I presume both teams will progress to the knockout phase but i dont really give a f..k who we meet there because we have beaten them all...yes and recently too...Corky huhh
  18. Words of Giles Smith "As you may be aware, we won this competition last year - and did so through some bloody-minded clinging-on and some highly efficient counter-punching, mostly in order to annoy Franz Beckenbauer. And enormously enjoyable it was, too. But, on last night's evidence, that doesn't appear to be the way we intend to defend it. Last night was our first proper sight of the energy-boost supplied to this team by Oscar and Eden Hazard, working together, and it looked like a dual set-up that could very quickly turn into a thing of wonder. I'd hate to have been a member of Juventus's back line last night, getting harrassed and closed down by Oscar and Hazard on the form they were in in the first half, in particular. It would have been like being trapped in a small car with two hornets. Plus if there was a better taken goal on our ground in the last three decades or so than Oscar's second one last night, then I'm struggling to remember it. It was, of course, classically, the kind of goal that deserved to win a match, so there was bound to be some disappointment when Juventus crept back into it. Bear in mind, though, that Juventus are no slouches and, indeed, don't appear to have lost a match in Serie A since the age of the oil lamp. Also, it would seem to me, looking at our group, that the key to qualifying from it is to drop points (if we must drop any at all) only when Juventus are doing so, too. To that extent, we're bang on track to go through".....This is exactly how i feel too as we can only get better come the knock out stages...can't wait
  19. we might not have had a good midfield but we certainly had oscar he totally outplayed pirlo both offensively and in defense. Intelligent thinking by RDM to wrap pirlo(i did not even notice him) with oscar thats why i still say RDM is a genius as a tactician lets wait, be patient and see how the team will play after he is done with it. He made one of the best midfielders in the world look worst than malouda at age 32
  20. I still dont know y rdm thinks playing ramires on the right is d best option . imo we lost todays game 0-2, but with a point. Reasons 1. both of our goals were as result of individual brilliance from oscar so on another day we wont have any goals 2. Drogba spoilt us so now we play without a striker or at least not one the midfielders or coach recognize by playing ramires behind him inspite of moses or oscar, or by choosing not to feed the striker when it will result in an easy tap in. On other points: 3. I think Mikel was our second best player in the first half and ramires gave the ball away 100 times more than mikel all over d pitch so no scape goating mikel 4. john terry was at fault 4 d second goal but otherwise had a good game 5.RDM is a genius cause chelsea are actually improving as an attacking team inspite of individual errors, we are coping well with life after drogba because this was a big game 6. Lampard owns chelsea or so it seems 7. And lastly torres is okay as long as we play hazard mata oscar/moses behind him because that will b playing to his strength by providing him service
  21. This is one match I am not scared of because its uefa CL and at the bridge. We all have seen how good teams crumble when they play us at stamford bridge in champions league e.g. Barca valencia bayern napoli .I believe this will be a bridge too far for juventus I am going for a professional 2-0 win to chelsea scorers(JT and Lamp/torres)
  22. Torres is goodluck even without goals..hehehehe I'd like to see torres and danny play in a 4-4-2 but obviously danny is too selfish. Danny will get more than enough chances I bet torres had to do same to break into athletico to bcome a star at 17. If torres isn't playing so well and we won the champions league and remain top of the league ill take it anyday over an assumed and untested prolific sturridge. As a chelsea fan I don't need no messi(torres in our case) scoring 80+ goals only to win copa del rey(carling cup in our case). Football is a team sport and yes this isn't play station and from what I know you don't get to b top of Epl just by Luck(except when sir Alex and refs. Combine for Manu) it shows something is in order at least. We jst have to wait and see its too early to b sacarstic.
  23. Pls lads let's look on the bright side. RVP is in red hot form for manu so is tevez for city and podolsky for arsenal and torres in this game was below par but we are still TOP OF THE LEAGUE and unlike manu mancity arsenal we can only only get better wen our new attackers settle in.
