On another forum, quite a few Wolves fans have been raving about Mancienne. They gave him MOTM in 2 of their recent matches. That cant be bad. If he can handle the Championship which is more hectic than the EPL then I'm sure he can deal with the step up a few levels. No-one will leave imo. We're thin enough as it is and it would be pointless if we let someone go and then have another injury crisis on our hands.

Celtic fans were quick to jump up in arms over Rangers singing the "famine song" which "apparently" offended them as it mocked the death of those who died in the Irish potato famine. Now let me ask you this.....What exactly are they doing now to the tens of thousands of Irish soldiers who fought and died in both world wars, those who died in Iraq/Afghanastan. Not to mention Scottish soldiers (catholic) who died in the same wars. Is this not making a mockery of their deaths? Hypocritical isnt the word. The poppy isnt a British symbol. It originated in America. Its a symbol of remembrance of the dead who died in battle recognised around the world. So they're not sticking two fingers up at the British (which is all their lot seem interested in atm), they're sticking your fingers up at every nation who had men/women who gave their lives so that they can lead their self indulgent hypocritical lifestyles. Blackburn have McCarthy(ban) and Santa Cruz(major doubt), so they'll have Derbyshire probably upfront on his tod. We need to bounce back and strongly. I was thinking about this the other night. I'm not saying LFS is nieve when it comes to tactics, but there are going to be games when we cant play the passing game he wants to see. Away from home, especially in europe you need to keep things tight and get the best result possible for the return leg. When/if we get to the next phase which will be a knockout format, we could find ourselves in a very sticky situation. I'm all for playing with flair, but we still need to play ugly at times. The Roma game for instance. their fans were baying for blood from the players before the game. There was loads of pressure on them to perform. We on the otherhand were riding high with maybe a bit of overconfidence going into the game considering Romas league form and position. On the night we got outplayed and our players were well below par. Was that due to tactics/overconfidence or an off night? I dunno, but it is a slight concern.

On another forum last night after the game. It was shocking the amount of Liverpool fans who actually defended him saying he didnt dive. Only one person said they were embaressed by his actions only to get an absolute slating from the scouse blind society for seeing him for what he is. He was diving before he left the ground ffs What he actually meant was...... "Yes I dived, I am a cheating bastard and conned the ref. I do it all the time and cant wait to do it again"

Just saw the highlights..... Pathetic. Also showed the Roma fans charging the divide between the sets of fans at the end of the game. Not a copper in sight. I hope nothing spills out onto the streets and all the lads get away from the ground ok.

I thought Benzema signed a new contract last year with a crazy buy-out clause like 150m. Aguero would be another OTT target money wise. Best to stay away from that sort of thing imo. We should be looking to unearth these players before their prices become astronomical.
