Football latest Implementing a rule making a player ineligible to play for seven days would be a non runner imo. Players can be injured for several days and be ready to return for the next game. It would be unfair on the player and unfair on the clubs.

Sounds like a plan...... We would have to make some guarentees to him to ensure he wont be tempted elsewhere. The last thing we want is for his agent (if he has one) to start putting ideas into his head now that he is starting to get the recognition.

A lot of players seem to find it hard to adjust to the pace of the game in the EPL. Its all guns blazing from the off. The other european leagues seem to be more slower in pace. Look at Gomes for Spurs, he was a class keeper for PSV, he looks out of his depth in the Premiership. Funny as fuck though "KEEPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS........Oh ffs".
