Drogba looks to be starting. Which I'm glad to see. His goal against Burnley was exactly what were missing upfront. A bit of power. West Brom have a philosophy of playing a passing game with plenty of football, none of this hoofing it up the pitch crap. They have stuck to it all season. I cant see that changing today. They wont sit back and put 10 men behind the ball, they will go for it and that will play to our advantage. It was highlighted on the highlights show ( funny that ) that after he scored he was going along the touchline and objects were getting thrown at him by the Burnley fans. Drogba being Drogba lifts something up and chucks it back at the fans. He didnt lob it into the air....he threw it back. No doubt he'll get a rollicking for it from the FA and a ban/fine of some sort. Tbh, it was out of order. He should get rapped for it. If it was any other team we'd all be up in arms about it. You'd think he'd know by now not to do stupid things on the pitch. It was yobbish behaviour. Silly boy. :thumbsdown:

He was absolute pants last year.....so it's not hard to improve on that

LFS has said he wants to bring one youth team player into the squad every year......... We've seen Di Santo a few times, Sinclair, Mancienne and Stoch have been on the bench on several occasions, but we have yet to see any of the them bar a short appearance for Sinclair a few weeks back. We need to start giving them a chance, with Money being as tight as it is atm in football in general, we need to develop our own players instead of shelling out millions for someone elses. Not only tonight, but in games when we've it won with 20 minutes left, why not throw them on ? A few weeks back we had Belletti, Joe Cole, Ferreira, Stoch, Di Santo and Sinclair on the bench. I think it was Sunderland......we were 5-0 up with 30 mins left....none of the kids got a chance. JB, JC & PF all came on.That was an ideal opportunity to get them involved.
