Robinho has hardly set the world alight ffs. Yeah he's a decent player with the potential to improve, but he's a different type of player to Drogba. Drogba is more direct. I cant see us repeating the performance we put in against Wigan. Spuds will not sacrafice their style of play. Ramos has them playing a similar style to us. fast, passing, and fluid. Fortunately for us, our style is working, theirs isnt. It'll be a very good game I reckon with plenty of flair shown by both sides. We should come out on top as their struggling to find the net and Bent isnt living up to his pre-season exploits and they've basically no-one else up front to call on. Love him or hate him, this game would have been ideal for Drogba. His type of game and would be more than able to hold the ball up. Its not Anelkas game.

A thing I picked up on during that half was that when we had an out ball to someone, ie Cole, Anelka. They had a defender right up their arse as soon as they were waiting to recieve the ball, as soon as it arrived it was nicked away and we were on the defensive again. We need the ball to stick to someone to give others time to get back up the pitch and support and maybe create a few chances. Their Keeper has had feck all to do the whole game bar pick tha ball out of the net. We havent had a clear cut chance in open play to even look dangerous.

I'd prefer if Cech was anonymous and having a quiet game.

Someone needs to get their foot on the ball and start dictating play. I cant see Wigan continuing this pressing game the whole match. They're gonna burn themselves out.

Wigan arent allowing us to get into our game. This could be a very frustrating game. Decos early goal could well be the difference come the end.
