Just broke on Sky Sports News...... :censored: Unbelievably pissed off.

Trying to control where he heads the ball might be difficult with the contours on the headwear. He could always get a lend of Bridges Stormtrooper helmet.
-
Havent seen any pictures yet of the cut, but it sounded pretty nasty. Just hope if he does play it'll not affect his game. Going for headers and that, we dont want him to be having second thoughts going into challenges. We'll need him to be 100% focused with our midfield already down to the bare bones.

David Gill's involved with the FA now aint he ? With him in there pulling strings they've a man on the inside to sway decisions possibly.

I'm sure they have SSN on the TV at SB Someones bound to have picked up on it.

Zola Wants Clarke as No 2
Aesthetic Relic replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Casiraghi doesnt want to leave the Italian U21's. Zola is obviously starting from scratch in terms of his backroom staff and I'm not surprised Clarke is mentioned. He knows the Premiership and has picked up plenty of experience under JM. So he'll be looking to get the best possible to join him and also people he knows and trusts. It'll be wierd to see him at West Ham....but as Bluelion says.......a bit of experience before moving to Chelsea. Scolaris hardly known for sticking around for too long. It has been said we'll be lucky to get 3 years out of him. I wish Zola well, and he's asked for the Chelsea fans to understand his decision. -
I noticed that Essiens International team mate Appiah has cancelled his contract and is available even though the window has closed. Arsenal and Pompey are apparently looking to bring him in, if so, why dont we go in for him ? Not too sure what sort of midfielder he is, attacking, defensive or whatever, but hes a decent player and will definately add something to our thining midfield.

If he is out for that length of time he'll be badly missed. Not exactly an easy player to replace.

You can't put a price on Kenyon's horror
Aesthetic Relic replied to Aesthetic Relic's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I'll have some of what you're on We're a million miles from being the biggest club in the world. 2014 was an unrealistic target. We've a hell of a lot to do before we can even think about calling ourselves that, as we've only really over the past few years started tapping into the Asian market on a level other clubs have been doing for years before us. Kenyon does my tits in. I bet he was the kid in school who got his dinner money taken off him for being a knob. -

I think we should sign Joe Cole
-
He went to Inter I believe, and the Robinho deal was in the bag, so probably why we didnt even have him on the radar
-
I think I read somewhere he'll be back for the Citeh game.
-
Sorry, but I have to disagree with that. The points they've made are fair points, but saying he's turned into a show pony again overnight is stretching things. Last season he was the only player we could truely rely on to open up defences. We were too one dimensional with our play due to the lack of width. Now with the arrival of Deco and we've seen already what an impact he's had on the side, we're trying a new style of play and atm Joe Cole doesnt seem to be getting the game time he would maybe like. People are maybe thinking that if Joe Cole was worthy of the POTY award then he would be in the side every week. We've so much depth in the midfield that its hard to pick who would be best to start. He'd a stinker against Wigan, but the whole team were far from spectacular in that game. You dont become crap overnight. The boy has talent. Give him a break ffs, he cant be a world beater every game.

The only thing we both have in common is that we're both Premiership teams who were lucky enough to have someone wealthy come in and take over the club. The Arab guy himself has said he chose Citeh as he sees it as an opportunity to create something instead of going for an already established team such as ourselves, Manure, the Arse and the Dippers. We were miles ahead of Citeh at this stage of our takover. We'd already a decent team in place and Cech and Robben were already signed before RA came in. We were already taking massive steps in Europe and in the league. I'm sure the Citeh fans are buzzing, just like we were, so I dont hold any grudge towards them. Sooner or later someone was going to invest big money into another team to create more competition. Fair play to them....... But, their aim of taking the title next season is very optimistic and the C/L the following year is a pipe dream. It'll take more than the money to get a team together capable of doing those things. This is the counter arguement we used many a time in defending our club. So I wouldnt say we were hypocrites.......just giving advice as we have been there and know what the media and other fans are going to throw at them over the next lot of seasons.

What is it with us and transfers. We either pay over the odds for players or get taken for a ride. We're a fucking charity case for everyone else in Europe, paying players wages while on loan and folding when a player wants away. Its about time we toughened up and stopped letting clubs make a mockery out of us. First on the agenda is getting shafted of Kenyon. Once again he has made us look foolish with his ego coming to the forefront. He was as cocky as you can get. Cant stand the man.
-
All the best players are gonna be cup tied. If Drogba gets his act together I can see us doing really well this season even though we'll only have Anelka and Di Santo as our other options up front. we're not solely relying on a long ball to Drogba and working from there. We've already got a new dimension to our play and its only a matter of time before everything clicks like it did at Pompey and we'll be flying.
-
Yet its OK when they do it illegally? Well if Kenyon hadnt have been so smug in saying it was almost a done deal when it wasnt, then maybe the guy wouldnt have been so quick to put the tops on the site in the first place. All he had to say was...."We're still working on securing the player, nothing is certain at this moment in time." Now we look stupid. Total arrogance on Kenyons behalf.
-
I know alot of people are majorly pissed off with this deal falling through. As for myself I wasnt overly fussed if we got him or not. So who should take the fall for this? Discuss
-
Wont be difficult if one of our boys rattle him in a few weeks

Chelsea cash in with Robinho replica shirts
Aesthetic Relic replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Why dont you all register on a Real Madrid site and take your anger out there.......should be worth a bit of fun and keep you entertained through the night -
I'm not that bothered tbh. I wasnt overly keen on signing him anyway. The squad we have is second to none atm. Obviously he would have strengthened the team. We've got our fingers burnt, a lesson should be learnt. If another team fucks about over a transfer deal we should tell them take it or leave it and not play silly buggers and drag it out and end up with nothing.
-
Didnt he just sign a new deal just before Scolari was announced as manager? I thought BPS was behind that in some way.
