Looking at who we're in for....Tevez, Aguero and Dembelelelelelelele...... I'm leaning toward Tevez due to his experience in the EPL. He wont have a settling in period and should hit the ground running which is what we need to be doing come August.

Santa Cruz is rumoured to be leaving. That leaves them with McCarthy and Derbyshire. I doubt we'd allow him to go on loan if he wasnt going to be played. If he is going to be sitting on the bench at Blackburn its pointless. There must be some sort of contract that he plays a certain % of games.

We must be pretty confident of getting this lad or the Belgian bloke (Moussa?) if we're letting Di Santo go to Blackburn. Imo we should make him a priority signing and get it sorted asap before Manu come sniffing with their spare change.

I'm sure the Blue half have been having fun the last lot of weeks.

Definately......Hiddink showed what we were capable of. If Ancelotti is able to channel things like Hiddink, we'll be in with a good chance of winning the title. Remember also, we had a half fit Drogba for most of the season. No Joe Cole and half a Malouda A good summer programme and we'll be back as good as ever.

I couldnt care less if we buy a "superstar" or not. What matters is getting the right player to fit into the jigsaw. I'm just waiting for Madrid to go tits up with their "Galacticos II". Having all the best players doesnt guarentee you anything in football. When you look at our squad were not that bad off. Defensively we're sorted even if Bosingwa leaves. Mancienne and Ivanovic have both proved their capable of playing that position aswell as having Ferreira who can fill in at LB if need be and Belletti. Midfield....again, not too bad. The only concern is Mikel and Essiens trip to the ACON, but within the squad we have quality players to fill in. Ballack, Belletti or even Ivanovic could play a holding role. Malouda has got his act together and we'll have Joe Cole returning. Stoch also could have a big part this season. From what I saw of him towards the end of last season he looks a cracking wee player. Up front, Anelka has got a new lease of life and Drogba seems to be almost ready to commit himself for another few seasons. Di Santo as good as he's supposed to be, hasnt really done anything of purpose to have me believe he's the answer to our problem. Hopefully he can prove me wrong. 2 players minimum imo. One in midfield and one up front.

I think the main reason the ACON is played in January is something to do with the weather. I might be wrong, but playing football in Africa in the middle of the summer might not be a good idea.

I cant wait to hear what Platini will come out with. He's spent the last 2 seasons spouting shit about the EPL big guns throwing their financial weight about and it was bad for the game. ESPN are interested in buying up the SPL rights apparently if things go tits up. Setantas quality of covering matches is pathetic. I watched Rangers v Hamilton earlier in the season and it was lashing down. The cameras were steaming up and there was water all over the lens. Not once did the camera man attempt to clean it. It was terrible. Resembled driving in a rain storm with no window wipers.
