  1. Fire this at him the next time he decides to open his mouth.... Just heard Osama bin Laden's new audio tape, that Al Jazeera say PROVES he's still alive. He said "Liverpool were shit tonight." MI5 sources have stated that the message could have been recorded any time in the last 10 years!
  2. Welcome to the forum Jordan. Everyone has to start somewhere. Just out of curiosity....your mates who claim you're jumping on the bandwagon....who do they support ?
  3. Obviously its good to have him abck....I thought he looked absolutely snattered against Algeria. I'd keep him fresh for the Arsenal game alone. He needs a bit of a breather imo. we should be able to cope for a few more games without him.
  4. Unless you've got balls on your chin then you've nothing to worry about.
  5. Thanks.....She still thinks she's a toddler and has me throwing her around like I used to. she's almost 11 now. No mate its my niece....her dad fucked off to Austrailia. So I feel obliged to look out for her.
  6. Welcome to the forum....get your picture up in the mugshots so we can laugh at you
  7. Not right now.....maybe later :tophat: You can use me as a guinea pig if you want
  8. In 2004 I dont think the pressure was as great and we were just playing football for the fun of it and got rewarded in the end for playing with no fear. Now I think theres more pressure on us to succeed on all fronts. We've kept the spine of the team...Cech, JT, Lampard and Drogba. That has been vital imo to why we've been consistent over the last few years. Many teams would have fallen away by now to mid table obscurity. The mindset of the squad built up by Jose has also carried us through alot of difficult times, especially under the Grant and Scolari era. Even today Joses influence is still evident.
  9. Isnt it a tradition on forums that when you get made up to a Mod you can ban a mamber of your choice ?
  10. This is my first effort making a video. Aint she a cutie ?
  11. I wasnt online for the game so I dont know if this was discussed in the match thread. Carlo Ancelotti is not a foolish man. He would have been well aware of the 4-3-3 formation and its effectiveness with the current squad. Its been tried and tested and brought us plenty of success prior to his arrival. We could easily have played the diamond formation and ground out another professional result, but we went 4-3-3 and pissed all over Sunderland. Ok they were shit, but you can only beat whats in front of you. So with that in mind it got me thinking what his motives were for changing things around. (I dont know if he's mentioned this in an interview or not as Its only just popped into my head. I'm a bit random like that ) Yes we have Drogba, Essien, Mikel and Kalou away on ACON duty, but with the squad we have we dont really need to change that much due to their short stint away. Sturridge, J.Cole, Malouda and Borrini are all capable of playing in a forward position for one game here or there and keep to his "tried and tested" formation, Belletti can play the holding role as hes shown on many occasions. Ballack & Lampard either side of the midfield and someone at the point. Is this something we're going to be seeing more of in the future ? I for one would love to see us batter teams every week, but its good to know that if need be we can switch formation with ease. We know he (Ancelotti) loves the Champions League and with the knock out phase coming close, I suspect he's trying a few things now to prepare us for the tougher games that lie ahead. Its better to try things now so that when it matters you dont make a panic decision and throw a game away. Which brings me back to my first point. Carlo Ancelotti is not a foolish man. Anyone who had any doubts about him, put them to bed now. He knows exactly what he is doing.
  12. Joe Cole of 2-3 season ago yes. If he gets back to that form he'll be a big player for us in the remaining few months of the season and also for England in South Africa. Right now I think he's trying too hard to get involved in games. He was brilliant yesterday, so hopefully thats him turned the corner. When Joe Cole is on form theres few better.
  13. If he was struggling with a hamstring injury then WTF were Ghana doing even playing him in the first place ? Playing a player who's nowhere near fit is asking for trouble.
  14. Anelka is one of the stand outs for me. I find it hard to accept it was Avram Bloody Grant who signed him He's playing the best football of his career right now and alot of people have mentioned this. You can clearly see he's enjoying his football.
  15. Guardian Oh Do Fuck off Platini you little cretin.......No mention of Real Madrid in your agenda eh ? Just out of curiosity.....what sort of debt are the scousers and Manure in. I know Arsenal are in a decent state due to Wenger having superglue in his pockets.
  16. You're kidding right ? Ballacks first season was a nightmare.....he only started playing well in his second season if I remember correctly and that was in spurts either side of a few injuries. Hence the nickname..."Bollock" I'll agree that over the last while back he's showing why he was reguarded as a world class player when we signed him, but he's on his last legs and if I'm honset, I dont think we'll see the Ballack who was amazing for Leverkusen & Bayern at Chelsea.
  17. He's entitled to his opinion......even though its a load of bullshit. If Ancelotti were to ask Drogba "do you want to play or sit on the bench" I can guarentee he'd want to play. Every footballer wants to play football, theres no disputing that fact. If Drogba feels like he needs a rest I'm sure he's man enough to speak up for himself.
  18. Drogba and Anelka are well into their 30's.....its no secret the backbone of our side is built of players going into the twilight of their careers, so when we do eventually go out to buy a striker to replace either Drogba or Anelka or possibly both I think it wont matter if they're an established world class striker or not. I know every signing is a gamble and as Matterz mentioned, Sheva was a disaster. He was expected to carry on his Milan form and it failed to happen, so that makes you wonder does it really matter if we sign someone with experience. If a player can adapt to life in the Premiership then we'll be onto a winner. Liverpool took a chance on Torres and its paid off. Could someone like Aguero or Dzeko do the same for us ?
  19. Its only a confidence thing imo. That being said....it is having a knock on effect on the defence as it his uncertainty when the balls in the air which is making the defence having to second guess what he's going to do. If they knew he was going to come charging out and clean everyone in front of him that would be fine, but he's not doing that. I dont like seeing keepers come out and punching the ball either. Theres too much risk involved in that as it could go anywhere. I like to see a keeper come out and take the ball cleanly in his hands and take the pressure off the defence. I'd have him spending extra time in training being in that sort of situation with balls constantly whipped into the box for him to claim with a few other players around him to get his confidence up. theres no denying his shot stopping ability....he's still as good as he ever was....its the flapping which is giving us concern.
  20. Jesus H Christ.......you're such a miserable bastard even when you're saying hello. Welcome back to the forum Basem.
  21. That was a very hard fought 3 points. I wonder what Ancelotti said at half time. We came out in the 2nd half with a rocket up our Gary Glitters. I dont uderstand why Drogba will miss an extra game due to his yellow card. If he was injured the suspension would still have taken effect.........no ? So why is it different because he's playing in the ACON ?
  22. FUCKING YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
