If you're going to pick a player on form, then Malouda right now is a good bit ahead of Joe Cole imo. Malouda has been fantastic the last few games and fully deserves his place. I love watching JC and he's one of my favourite players,but for the sake of the team I'd have FM before JC atm Its good for the team that Joe Cole has to fight to get back into the starting line up. Just having him waltzback into the team could possibly hamper a players will to improve.....its up to him to show he deserves to start.

Mikel is one of those type of players like Kalou, who can do wondeful things then the next minute he looks like he's never seen a football before in his life. I would rather have him in our team that not....lets just put it like that. He has a tendancy to be a bit of a hothead and he needs to learn to stop flying into tackles. He can be his own worst enemy at times.

If you're in the public eye then you're there for the taking imo. Thats the way the media operate. I dont think it has affected the relationship of the players. This came out a while back and alot of people within the club and other folk obviously knew about it and were told to keep it under wraps. If it hadn't of came to light we'd be none the wiser and the unity of the players wouldnt be questioned as they appear to be right behind one another. What it has done is put a black mark against him as a person. If he does get stripped of the captaincy for England then I would understand why. He's an iconic figure and kids will look up to him. Wether or not it will affect his Chelsea captaincy remains to be seen....I dont think it will come to that, but the first 50/50 between Terry and Bridge will be interesting to say the least.

Legend or not.....what he's apparently done is bang out of order. From what I've read about this, there was a court injunction put in place to stop the story being released by the press. I watched a bit of him during the ACON and he looked knackered tbh, I'd definately bring him back in for the Arsenal game. He was banging in the goals regularly before he went so it would be hard not to play him. Its a situation I'm glad we have......(considering leaving Drogba on the bench). Not many clubs can afford to leave their No1 striker geting splinters in his arse.

Just watched the highlights there on football first....All I can say is WOW !!!! Birmingham are no easy touch, especially the way they are playing right now. We could easily have walked away with another seven goal haul we were that good. I havent read any of the thread as yet, but I'll give a special mention to Deco who was amazing. That was the first time I've actually seen him look interested in a game. He was everywhere tonight and getting stuck in when it mattered. Well done wee man. I cant wait until we get our African players back because we're really struggling without them
