Wasnt the DC United thing set up because of the uproar from fans who werent happy with the Yanks coming over and taking control. They saw it as the soul being ripped out of the club. I dont think thats happeneing at Chelsea. Football moves with the times and we had to do what everyone else was doing to keep in touch. Thats the way football has become. Lifes a bitch, but I'll always be Chelsea. If the time comes when something like an AFC does happen I will keep an eye on their results, but Chelsea will always be my priority. They're both different at what they do on the pitch. When DD is on top of his game it would be hard to find a better striker anywhere. I dont think its a case of replacing him, more a case of adapting if he does decide to move on.

We should have enough to see us through. They'll have to chase the game from the off and will be going all guns blazing to get a goal as quick as they can to level things up.......The longer the game goes on the more they will have to push forward and that will leave gaps at the back which we will have to take advantage of.

The difference about Ivanovic and Boula is that Ivanovic was being hunted by many top clubs who wanted his signature and is reguarded as a player who is going to be making a real name for himself over the next few years. Its about time we got these types of players in now instead of 4-5 years down the line paying well over the odds for them. He'll get his chance, but not just yet. Theres plenty of time to get him used to the squad as were not exactly short on defenders atm. If its not broke and all that. :thumbsup:

Its hard to really judge who is the best defender in hte business. Each player at the top of their game has different things to offer. If you want to look at it from what Riccy brnigs to Chelsea then I would say if he went he would be just as hard to replace as JT. As said before.....JT is your typical blood and guts British defender who thrives on getting stuck in where it hurts. He may not be the quickest in the world, but what he lacks in pace he makes up for in his reading of the game. Riccy on the other hand has pace to burn and is quick into the tackle and when he pushes forward over the half way line Its a joy to watch. Its mainly the fact that most of his work goes about un noticed by many other fans and the media, but watching him when JT was out last season and Essien was partnering him in the centre of defence you could see what a quality defender he was. To me he held things together as best he could and was all over the place getting stuck into anything that moved. He is without doubt one of the top defenders in the world, but again....picking one out to be the best in the business is hard. I am just pleased he is in our team giving his all. :thumbsup:

Word spreads onto the streets of Liverpool that they are winning on corners....... 3 minutes of injury time......we could get another throw in..... The match ends 1-1, and Liverpool fans celebrate their massive point.......

Grunt said a few weeks back when the last Drogba story came out about him wanting to leave the club that he doesnt mind him doing it........I cant remember the exact reason he gave, but Grunt said something which seemed daft... Imo...Drogba talks too much.

Pizarro will go imo...apparently Lazio are interested in him Which means having Drogba, Anelka, Sheva and Kalou left at the club. Thats if Drogba decides to stay or not. If he goes then theres no doubt we'll have someone else lined up come the summer, cause imo Pizarro aint gonna get any better.
