I would prefer Pastore to Hamsik actually. Maybe because I have seen Hamsik only in you-tube videos Pastore has excellent ball control, a sudden change of pace & direction and brilliant first touch which we so desperately lack in our midfield. And most importantly he can beat a man or two with dribbles which is something totally alien to all our players currently !!!

It is not about us needing to loan someone but Anderlecht wanting a forward player in return for us taking Lukaku from them. I would say give them Lalkovic on loan for a year and keep De Bruyne with ourselves. This way Genk would be happy too that we are not sending their player directly to their title rivals !!!

im sure we are not gonna get all 3 of them... Lukaku is the least needed of the 3. As good as a player he is, there is no hurry for a big CF when we have Drogs on our books. Neymar - #1 priority Playmaker (Pastore hopefully) - #2 priority Flying RB (Wiel) - #3 priority 2nd striker (Kun) - #4 priority hmm.. we can all dream .. can't we ?!!?

if we had to pick a CAM from RM, i would prefer Canales over Kaka... The lads been bench warming all season and he had be a much cheaper option as well... We could even try a year long loan deal for him !!! Nice technique and has a good eye for a pass...

^^ Im kind of in 2 minds as well.... If we get Kun, we got to revert to a 4-4-2 formation. We are awful with a flat 4-4-2 formation which cannot accommodate Lamps and the only way would be to go to a 4-diamond-2 formation where we dont have a classic play-maker to play at the tip.. Yossi would be our best option right now !!! Still think 4-3-3 is our best formation... and for that we need wingers... a la Neyman / Sanchez / Marin et al...

Torres is a major lure for us to get Kun. They are really close friends (from earlier interviews of both Torres & Kun) and I'm sure Kun would luv to join forces with Torres again rather than warm the Madrid Bench... Lets just hope we put together a decent enough bid for him. All said, I hope we dont have to pay the entire release clause fee !!!

Not sure if he is over-rated or not, but definitely would not fit our 4-3-3 system. He is more useful in a team that plays on the counter, where he will have loads of space to knock the ball and run onto. In a system like ours where we are often in the opposition half and get congested, he isn't the trickiest player to beat 2-3 ppl and create something out of nothing. That is why i think players like hazard, neymar, sanchez or marin would be useful to us. He does have an excellent cross and shot in him though. I like the idea of him being our LB once Cole is done. But definitely not as our winger in a 4-3-3.

I dont think we have a pressing need in CB position... if anything, its a RB we need. Wiel for 12m sounds like a good price. but I hope we dont spend anything more than 15m for a RB position.

if we can get sanchez and neymar within 50m together, I will be happy. Ship out Nico and FloMo for a combined fee of 10-15m and we shouldbe good for the next year.

Nico and lamps shouldn't be on the list !!!! Replace them with Ivan and Drogs... Drogs although not a starter has performed well when coming as a sub... Not saying he is the player of the month, but deserves a mention ahead of the afore-mentioned duo. And Ivan as always gives you that 8/10 performance everytime he pulls that jersey. As for player of the month, close between the samba boys.... Can't we just give them both the award ?!?!

I think 2 wingers in Neymar and Sanchez would be enough for this summer. Lamps can hold his own for atleast a yr more. We should be fine as long as we get these 2 !!! back to 4-3-3 i say with Neymar-FT-Alexis... Drooooooooooool...........

On a free transfer I wouldn't mind, if it is a 2 yr deal or kinds... Could be like the role Deco played for us last season. Carlo does like playing deep playmakers - a reason why he plays McE there as well. So in a bit part role - YES. But hopefully not as a regular starter. He doesn't have the legs to run an entire match these days. But could be a useful option when the score is 0-0 and we are pushing high up the pitch.

he is showing a lovely turn of pace, though his overall involvement in the game needs to improve a lot. I know it sounds weird after he has scored 2 in 2... But I watched both those games and he often goes awol for quite a period where he doesn't get on the ball at all.... But hey, if he can score 1 every game, I m not complaining

@ Henrique I would never even entertain the idea of selling Mikel. To me he is much better than the over-rated Busquets. He reads the game well, passing is improving, tackling is improving. Yes he does make the odd mistake, poor in shooting, is not blessed with pace and inspite of his height is not so good in set pieces. But he is what we need when we are playing against the likes of stoke, blackburn, sunderland et al. He makes it easier for the team to go on an attacking overdrive acting as a 3rd cb. I am not saying he should be starting every game, but we are definitely better with him in our squad than without him !!!!

that bodes well actually.. We have kept the spine (best gk, def, mid, st) and rotated the role players which is correct imo. And that explains why we have been consistently there or thereabouts in the past 7-8 yrs. We are now ready to make our new spine for the next decade. Cech has a gd 10 yrs left in his bag. Luiz as a replacement for JT in the long term, Nando for Drog hopefully, lamps' replacement is the only issue bothering all us fans. We really dont have a natural goal scoring midfielder in his mould. Either we buy sum1 or hope gael/josh will come good in the long run.
