To be honest he had a very good start to the last season. I remember I was thinking in one of the games he had even learned how to pass, it was looking more accurate and he was trying more long balls and difficult passes and succeeding in doing so. And then, at some point into the season his form went downhill.

HAHAHAHA. Is that how the moderators here behave? This forum has gone downhill. [/salty thin-skinned dude that complains about everything and was raised by his grandmother] Anyhow... I reckon confidence makes you more consistent and as a result it makes your technique look better. Of course confidence won't make you able to do things you couldn't before but it is probably going to make you more successful in everything you are capable of doing. So in a way it improves your technique somewhat. But we both seem to agree he won't suddenly take the world by storm and I think ultimately that's what matters.
-
I disagree. I think confidence and finishing are very closely related. Just to give you an example, I've seen Neymar fail to score goals for Barcelona that he used to score for Santos and Brazil with his eyes closed. I can't watch the videos because I'm on my phone's internet but being confident in the moment of the finishing may change everything, your composure, the type of shot you're going to use, whether you should take another step or not, whether you should try another dribble or just shoot... confidence can completely alter what you're going to do to score. Back to Neymar, I've seen him shoot the ball on the opposing goalkeeper countless times for Barça in situations where he would just chip the ball over the goalkeeper if he were playing for Santos or Brazil, solely for lacking confidence. Other times he would try to dribble too much, other times his aim looked completely off... Still he probably won't ever score as many of those goals based on pace. Which he seemed to score quite a lot.

You're being a bit too harsh. Finishing and decision making can be improved massively with confidence. Now, I don't believe for a second he will be significantly better for Milan, because even having said that, I think he's weak minded and a broken player. He may have short periods of confidence when he will look decent like he has had for us, but I don't think he will ever be consistently good again. It seems to take too little for Torres to give up and start playing poorly with no confidence.
-
Now this is something I can respect

It happens. I lurked around the forum for months before posting for the first time. Anyways, as excited as I am, I'm still waiting for his medical exams before shouting loudly with everything I have. Knowing Torres I wouldn't be surprised if he failed them.
-
I thought we had agreed you wouldn't ever mention that incident

Just got some internet back to my place and I see the forum is in performance mode. Is this really happening?
-
OMG, THIS IS HAPPENING!
-
Please let it be true.

I don't remember inviting any man. I suggested there could be an easy solution to the problem of two different people wanting my naked body. And later I invited Jason. I don't remember inviting any man whatsoever.

I don't think se ever will, hahaha. She says she hates the idea that I'll potentially be working at the other side of the globe. And she's also not very fond of foreigners
-
You don't know my mom. She gets jealous from girls LOOKING at me. She's next level overprotective. And yay! Good internet and beach again!
-
@Barbara, I'm going back to João Pessoa tomorrow btw. Bought the tickets today. I'll have to call GVT and ask them to reactivate my internet.
-
Blame it on Barbara wanting me and another girl. It's as funny as it is cute!
-
So, how's the fundraiser thing going? Let's hurry people.

Thank you. But I'm really not. My dad is like me in the sense that he learns things easily but he works way harder than me. My dad wakes up reading books, not kidding. When I was a kid I would wake up early like in a sunday, then I would enter my parents bedroom and my dad would be awake reading a book. He's insanely intelligent, he's knowledgeable in many subjects, even more than @Stingray. I'll probably never reach his heights but I'm okay with that.

4) Yeah, now that you've said that, I was putting all the burden of satisfying them both on myself but what probably happens in reality is that it is shared between every single one of us, making it not all that harder. And everyone is probably going to be aroused as ****. 15) I thought I had made it clear 16) All that was too easy. Now comes the hard part. And I'm not even playing humble here. I didn't even study all that much for OAB and the student council was all about having contacts, it didn't take a lot intellectual effort. Yeah, they're not bad achievements but I think I just kinda take them for granted since they didn't require a lot of sacrifice on my behalf. I could even add being accepted by UFPB as an achievement, since joining our federal universities in courses like Law, Engineering and Medical School is a tough task. And I joined as 1st place 17)

Ravenclaw is not only about being smart. It's about being curious and having desire for knowledge, they just end up being smart as a result of this mentality. But I like to think I'm a bit smart too.
-
How come we're free when Torres is the epitome of deadwood?
-
A player so bad he looks poor for a third striker spot but on a 175k a week salary? Definitely special, we're talking about a one of a kind thing here. We may never see something like this happen ever again. I'm with him on this one, definitely special player. He will live in our memories for the longest of times.
-
I'll probably throw a party, considering I'm this excited with only the prospect of him leaving. It will probably feel like getting better from a disease. You know that feeling when one day you wake up and your nose is finally not constricted and your body doesn't hurt anymore? It's probably going to feel about the same.

1. Because great minds think alike 2. Of course I would! And I'm totally serious. 3. You, Barbara, Stingray, Spike Spiegel, Rmpr, Choulo, Alex, Jason, Fullham Broadway, Special Juan, Jype, Liquidator, Mohammed Seif, Iseah100, Daniel1980, Viper22, Peace., SeB, Blueschick, James, Tomo, Djames, zolayes, Madmax, DYC., Hutcho, Robguima, Strike, Korea Beepu, The Mak, Pizy, Blue-in-me-veins, Sidzeret, hjperdeath, We Hate Scouse, Myself... a lot of people, really. I don't like doing this because, as Barbara says, my memory sucks and I always forget someone I shouldn't. The only member I really dislike is lionsden, I feel he's just mean spirited and tries to rile up people all the time. I had to put him on ignore because I usually read the comment before looking who said it. I still end up reading everything but it allows me to adjust my mentality to just laugh it off beforehand. 4. Not yet. Jokes aside, I imagine it must be awesome but equally hard with two women at the same time. 5. Rock! I've answered this before. My favourite band is The Killers. I don't deviate from mainstream too much. I listen to a lot of pop too. This is not very accurate because I listen to many things that aren't scrobbled there but: http://www.lastfm.com.br/user/dionsa 6. Diplomacy and International Law. 7. São Paulo FC. 8. I'm straight Brazilian. Most of my heritage comes from Portugal. My grandparents have told me there is some French and Dutch from their great grand parents or something, not sure, I never dug too much into it. But mostly portuguese really, with a little bit of african/black as most old brazilian families have. 9. The God of thread derailment himself. And one who like fucking pussies at that. 10. Yes, love it. 11. I haven't left South America. I've only been to Argentina, Peru and Bolivia. All of them are awesome in their own rights. Personally I loved visiting the ruins of Machu Picchu, Peru. I hope I can see everything there is to see in the world before I die. But I've traveled a lot around Brazil and this country is almost as big as a continent. 12. Usually time constraints. When I have too many things on my mind I end up neglecting the forum. But there was a time I was avoiding coming here because all people did was arguing with one another and measuring their e-penis. Sometimes if I read too many stupid comments it also puts me off. But that was mainly last year, things are looking better now. 13. In many things my dad. My dad is awesome, definitely one of the most intelligent people I've ever seen. If only I was half as knowledgeable as he is... I just don't take him as role model in social skills, he lacks in that department even more than I do, haha. Other than my old man I don't think I have any, maybe you could mentor me in social skills, everyone wants to be your friend 14. I love Jason, but Choulo19 is one of the Pub guys. Him. 15. Yes, don't ever talk to me again. 16. Absolutely not. I haven't achieved anything really. 17. This is a good question. Yes, I think all of us are learning more about ourselves every day and my general goal is to always improve as person, every day. No, I'm still not happy, I've still got plenty of room for improvement. Just the other day I felt bad, and am still feeling bad about it, because I was in a bad mood and told someone to fuck off in one of the match threads, I don't remember who it was, just because he called me a hater and brought some incorrect stat. It doesn't matter if I felt it was justified at the time because he was objectively wrong and labeling me, I shouldn't have done it, it wasn't right or polite. And I also should have apologized but I didn't because I still struggle admitting my mistakes, especially if I'm annoyed. I'm also too stubborn at times. Furthermore, I shouldn't have got angry and sarcastic at @didierforever the other day either. He's entitled to his opinion and I should respect it, and not mock him in a passive-agressive way, even if I think he's undeniably mistaken. Long story short, I can find things I could and should have done better every day and that's good, if I couldn't improve myself anymore this would be a hell of a boring life. If any of those two read this, consider it as my apology, I'm sorry. In general I think I'm doing good, I could be worse I suppose. I'm closer to being happy with who I am than unhappy. 18. I'm kind of an agnostic-atheist. I don't think we have the means to assess whether God does or does not exist by scientific or empirical methods, but if I had to take a hunch, I'd say he doesn't exist. I also find the discussion of whether he exists or not meaningless, supposing he existed and I admitted it, that still doesn't make me accept the Bible or any holy scripture as his words, so I wouldn't know what he expects from me. And I wouldn't know until the moment he contacts me directly, but if he ever did contact me, it would both prove me he exists and also give me insight to what he wants, so I don't find it productive to be thinking about his existence if the answer to that doesn't change anything. 19. I think they're a bunch of corrupt wankers really. And I don't think we can change it unless we as a people, as a nation, change our mentalities and until we change the way we run our elections. The way we hold elections right now is akin to how a popularity contest is ran, I kid you not. Too much personal propaganda too little proposals or political stance. What I'd like to see is less pictures of the candidates being spread and more of what they plan to do and how they're going to do it. Not only empty words like "improve education", "improve healthcare". I want to know exactly what you plan to do and how you are going to achieve it. I don't wanna see your white pretty teeth everywhere, I wanna know whether you are pro or against abortion, homossexual rights, euthanasia, stem cell research etc. Ideally I wouldn't even want to see your face at all, all I wanna know is what you and your political party plan to do and what are your political and ideological beliefs. And our people should strive to lessen the "jeitinho brasileiro" (the brazilian way). Because that's the type of thing that brings corruption, the culture of trying to get benefits by any means. It could start by people respecting queue order at banks, restaurants, cinemas... by giving back the excess of change you receive when you buy something. They complain about corruption in politics but they do the same in smaller degrees every day. And I don't doubt they would do the same or worse if they were in power. It would be bad enough to do it, but to take pride on it? That's another level of wrong. 20. To me is trying to be the best person you can be, is to try making yours and everyone's lives better and happier.
-
But I didn't! Those questions came before yours. I didn't respond to the let's have sex because Choulo will have it moved to the pub again, HAHAHAHA. And complementing the futsal, offensive football thing, there's also street football to enhance our ball control skills
-
1 - Tomato. 2 - Striker, I'm short for a GK and I also praise my health a bit too much, I don't like being hit by the ball on my face and it seems to happen a lot whenever I play GK. At the same time my finishing is not all that good, but I could probably play second striker well. 3 - GK: Neuer, Buffon, Courtois, Cech and Stekelenburg. Defense: Thiago Silva, Kompany, Terry, Subotic and Ramos. Midfield: Pirlo, Schweinsteiger, Iniesta, Fabregas and Yaya Touré. Attack: Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez, Robben and Ibra. 4 - Klopp. Definitely Klopp.
