  1. Today I went to my dad's place and I ate a fruit I hadn't tried before - sapoti. Have you ever?
  2. Maybe he could have saved one of those goals we conceded but it was nowhere near acceptable to expect him to save them, it would be more a stroke of luck than of skill.
  3. He was so invisible not even his critics remember he played I said it before, most of the times the criticism upon Oscar sounds completely random and that's what annoys me the most, he plays well or okay and people want his head - he comes on, changes nothing, contributes to nothing and then we get silence here...
  4. Yeah. He was like two meters away or less from their box IIRC. It happens to every attacking player, of course it would be better if he didn't, but it's really not the end of the world when a player is dispossessed around the box of the opposing team. He was nowhere near our own half and there were plenty of players behind him to stop it, I remember when I think Draxler passed in front of Ramires and the latter held his hands up in the air like saying he didn't do anything - damn you Ramires, do something, you seem to have no problem receiving a yellow for no reason at all, at least show the same inclination to get one to stop a counter ffs. It was both our defenders fault and Draxler's merit that they could score in that counter. Also the way Cahill dealt with Huntelaar was just woeful.
  5. IMO, so far he has been doing both his offensive and defensive duties better than Lampard in the last years. You can see he gets a lot of tackles to his name every game, he has been amongst the people who ran the most in the matches and yet he is assisting and creating chances like crazy. Of course there's always room for improvement - his pressing is very raw for instance, but I don't see how his performances have earned him the stick he has been getting lately. It's just not proportional.
  6. The perception just got worse because Neville singled him out in his analysis. That's the confirmation the people who think he can't defend for his life and those who can't think for themselves and accept everything the media bloats needed. Expect a lot more of that from now on. He is supposed to be the least defensive minded from our midfielders but his defensive performance was on par with the other midfielders today - at least on par with Ramires, that's for sure, whilst at the same time being the best offensive contributor.
  7. Like I have said before when the rumours began, I still don't see how having brought Drogba make us stronger and it will possibly just tarnish his reputation. Not that he will cease being a legend or anything, legend he's always going to be but I'd have preferred that my last memories of him were his last games in our UCL campaign than looking at him on the pitch and wondering whether it is Torres or DD playing.
  8. It was a good chance and you expect a player of Cesc's caliber to bury it more often than not, but still not a sitter.
  9. When your defense shy away from tackles and your attack refuses to score you can't expect a lot more than that. Drogba had a mare of a match. Fabregas had an overall good game but two of his mistakes heavily contributed to the draw - being dispossessed which resulted in we conceding and missing that chance which would have put us in a comfortable 2-0 position. Hazard MOTM, exquisite assist for Cesc's goal and the drive to impact the game the whole time. Unfortunately today wasn't our day. Our defenders need to learn that fouling is sometimes necessary. And Mourinho should leave sentimentality and nostalgia aside, Drogba should have been off at HT.
  10. That's what happens when your defense refuses to tackle and your striker refuses to score. Anyways, Hazard MOTM.
  11. What? Willian created plenty of chances. One of them passed like 1 inch from Drogba's foot. Is it his fault that Drogba pulled a Torres?
  12. Why can't our players just stop the player? It's better a yellow than letting them equalize.
  13. Ramires doesn't look as good in this second half. Lots of silly mistakes.
  14. They're different players, Fabregas is much more of a creator, Lampard's finishing is miles ahead. Especially regarding long shots.
  15. That Draxler chance was weird as fuck, there were three players on him and none even tried to tackle or anything. Like they didn't believe they could stop him without fouling.
  16. Fabregas and Hazard are developing some nice chemistry.
  17. DAMN YOU CESC! If you had scored this second goal Arsemania would be even funnier to read later today.
