This was the best performance I've seen from Oscar the entire year. That 1v1 chance was worse than I remembered though, could have chipped it, could have dribbled past the goalkeeper, could have passed to Schürrle, yet he Torres'ed it. But that other pass to Schürrle's opportunity was beautifully executed. Expecting this last match to give him confidence to keep up with the good performances.

Fabregas is criminally underrated, it's unbelievable how cheap we bought him considering the crazy deals that have been going on lately. One of the best midfielders in the world who has just turned 27 for 30m? Yes, please.

Totally agree. He usually lacks the ability to perform the chances he sees. You may have noticed many of his passes which would create amazing chances are intercepted in the final third.

We could have scored 4 goals already easily. Costa missed a 1v1 chance, Schurrle missed another great chance... etc. The old wasteful Chelsea, but we were in control and creating plenty of chances.

But he still makes some crappy passes every now and then. It's odd since they're usually easy passes the ones he misplaces. But definitely a significant improvement. It has to be said that he usually steps up in UCL matches though, it's not that surprising.
