  1. Christensen has different characteristics than Kovacic. Christensen will not go forward, while Kovacic is a lot more offensive compared to Christensen in midfield.
  2. You think so? Because I think he may be the most underrated CB in PL. What impresses me about him is that he has a lot of football IQ and concentration. Rüdiger for instance lacks in concentration big time and I think that he does not have that good of a position game. Ake also is a great ballplaying CB and Rüdiger is not the most creative CB.
  3. Depends on how inflamed that is. I had that injury a couple of times. Also, it depends how you got the injury. Once, it took me a little bit more than a week to recover and do the movements I used to do. Reason was that some muscles like the anterior tibialis were too tight. One time I got the injury because my anterior tibialis and a specific calf muscle was too weak. That took me one month to get recover and I could not do any real training at all. So it depends. He obviously has to go to therapy and the doctors are probably very knowledgable regarding that injury because RLC and CHO have that injury too When the muscles were too tight, I could barely walk. Pain was very hard
  4. What do you guys think about Ake? He would be a very good left CB that knows the club and he is a ball playing CB. I would not mind him here.
  5. The question is how realistic are those transfers? Romagnolli seems to be a very good defender. I am not so sure how he would handle the physicality of the PL, but he has potential. The problem is that he renewed his contract a year ago and he had offers from the PL that he rejected. This summer, Barcelona could not get him after they failed with the De Ligt transfer. I don´t see the transfer happening, especially with the player being happy at Milan. Skriniar. Seems to be a good defender, but now with Conte, it will be pretty tough to get him because if Inter would sell him,Conte would kill the Inter board^^. I don´t see that happening and he probabyly likes how Inters developtment is going right now. They are getting better and better under Conte. Marquinhos: He is not the tallest CB and he is not that strong. Andreas struggles sometime with strong strikers and I would not want another one that struggles with that problem Ibrahima Konate: I only watcheda highlight video of him and he really impressed me. He has everything you need as a CB. I asked some Bundesliga experts of mine and they said that they rate himhighly and that he is developing every season. I rhink we should go for him. A huge offer and Leipzig would let him go to Chelsea and we are no Bundesliga club, so that would be the best for both parties. Konate also would have here franch native in Kante and he is probably also a fan of Kante ( who is not a fan of Kante? :D) . I just hope that our Board knows this guy. After Emanelo left, I don´t know who our main scout is. Marina can´t be the one^^.
  6. Lamps does not make the transfers. Our board does
  7. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jan/26/chelsea-callum-hudson-odoi-transfer-request-bayern-munich-morata " The England junior international, who won the under-17s World Cup two years ago, has been frustrated by a perceived lack of opportunities under Maurizio Sarri and had made clear he had no interest in signing new terms at Stamford Bridge despite suggestions the club might be willing to offer him as much as £80,000-a-week to extend his stay. Instead, Hudson-Odoi believes he will have more opportunities to play senior football at Bayern, having seen the impact Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson have made in the Bundesliga, with Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim respectively, this term. " https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47017908 "Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has handed in a transfer request as he seeks a move away from Stamford Bridge in order to get more playing time. The 18-year-old is yet to start a Premier League game at Chelsea and has been the subject of a £35m bid from Bayern Munich. Chelsea have been in talks with Hudson-Odoi, who has 18 months left on his contract, and want him to stay. But he has only made five Chelsea starts and 14 appearances overall. There have been reports Hudson-Odoi has been offered a new deal worth up to £80,000 a week, but playing time is understood to be the most important issue for the teenager, who has been at the club since he was eight." CHO played only 61 minutes in PL before he handed his transfer request. So he wanted to leave because of lack in game time. I don´´t know what evidence you have, if you are more credible than the guardian or other sources, but that is my understanding of the situation. Sarri messed up like he did with many things
  8. In a fair world, Sarri would have given him a fair chance at the BEGINNING of the season because he was brilliant when he played pre season and he also was our best player against City in Super Cup. If he had gotten that chance, he would have signed the contract immediately. But Sarri did not rate him back then and he does not rate youth that much, so CHO got frustrated. That is obvoiusly a normal reaction when you perform that well and the coach does not give you a fair chance. Happened to KDB (he even played two PL matches before Mou fucked him up). It is Sarri´s fault. He would also be a lot cheaper if he signed at the beginning of last season
  9. James was a beast at Youth level. Tammy was good at youth level, but I can see huge developtment in his playing style after his loans. He really improved last season and I knew from watching him at CS, that he was ready for Chelsea because he improved in areas where he was not good at Youth level. Mount was pretty good at youth level, but even after watching him at CS, I thought he could become only a decent squad player, but I was wrong and he is better than that. I still think that RLC is better, but we have to see how RLC plays when he is back. James has shown how good he is in two different positions. He can pass, he can cross, he can tackle, he sees passes that Azpi clearly does not see and he has decent pace. He probably is also stronger than Azpi. Azpi lost the ball 20 times and Azpi was never a gifted player at passing or crossing. Now he also lost the abilities to defend. James can´t do worse than him.
  10. That is what you probably also thought about Tammy and Mount.Mount never played PL and he is performing really well. He is not the reason why we concede goals. Tammy is our best striker til npw and most Chelsea fans did really not rate him ( I rated him). Azpi can´t even pass and gets dispossed too many times. James is a rock solid passer and that is why he played a lot as a midfield player. Our Youth is performing very well and it is the experienced players that mess things up. Zouma is 25 years old with some PL experience. Azpi is the former best 1 vs 1 defender of the PL. Willian and Pulisic have to improve too because they are experienced too. Pulisic used to be a starter at Dortmund and Willian was starter for Chelsea many years. I agree that some players like Jorginho,Pulisic or Barkley could press better, but Mount and Tammy are doing a very good job at pressing. James is also a pressing machine. We are not losing because of our Youth, we are losing because our experienced players are not good enough.
  11. Azpi costs us games over and over again and he is playing like Ivanovic in his worst days. Reece is better than Azpi in the offensive phase and in this fom, Azpi is not PL level, sorry. Even if James makes mistakes here and there, it does not the end of the world. He will improve, while Azpi is on the downfall of his career. You can´t teach Azpi defending, especially when in his prime he was probably the best 1 vs 1 defender in the world. Now, he just lost it. Even if James is Azpi level at defending, he still is ten times better in the offensive phases of the game. He can cross the ball and Tammy is waiting for good crosses. We have a 1,90 cm striker and our only players that can cross the ball are CHO, Pulisic (as a right winger) and James. Two of them are injured...
  12. Tammy and Mount would get loaned out again. I can see that happening
  13. So what we need for next season is a world class winger and a world class defender. I don´t mind how much we pay for them. We should have enough money to buy two top class guys. ------------------------Tammy Sancho/Zaha ------------------CHO ------------RLC--------------Mount ---------------------Kante Emerson-Mr.X---Rüdiger---James We need a really good winger because I don´t think that Pulisic will make it as a starting winger when CHO and Pedro are fully fit. Zaha looks very good and Sancho is very good too. I think Sancho will got to City or United next season, but we can try. Otherwise, there is always Zaha and he is PL proven and can left or right winger. Tammy should be a starter because he knows how to score goals. We have bigger issues to solve. We always score goals, we just concede too much. I don´t know who we should buy as a CB. I heard that Skniar from Inter Milan is very good. I would go for him and buy him, even if it costs us 100 mio. If he is that good, buy him.
  14. Rüdiger should be back for Chelsea next game. James probably needs more time.
  15. James is injured and probably needs 1 months til he recovers. He still did not start training again with the first team
  16. This may be the first time I have to agree with you haha. Last season was the time where he should have been replaced. But he became captain
  17. He does his job, Again 2 good goals. But players like Azpi and Zouma are messing things up
  18. I agree with you that midfielder roles can be quite different, but each winger has different assets. For instance, I would never use Messi as a left winger. He probably would play really good there, but he would waste a lot of his potential. Playing him as a right winger or false 9, or maybe the 10 role would be the best for him, but playing him on the left side where he can´t shoot that often with his left foot is not the best idea. Messi likes to cut inside, so does CHO. Ronaldo is the same. Using Ronaldo as a right winger would also be a waste of potential. Pulisic for instance is a winger that can play both sides and play both roles very good. Martial on the other hand can only play striker or left winger. He is really not a good right winger. CHO is a guy that likes to cut inside and shoot with his right foot and that is his biggest strenght. You can clearly see that he often takes too much time on the right side to decide what he wants to do. When he cuts inside as a right winger, he wastes a lot of time by doing that. His cutting inside move as a right winger is nearly not as fluid than his cutting inside move when he plays as a left winger. He dribbles with way more speed when he plays as a left winger compared to when he plays on the right side. The good thing about CHO is that he a lot of tools, so he can cross the ball or he can pass the ball into the box, but still his tempo dribbling and shooting is at its best as a left winger.
  19. How good is he as a right winger?
  20. CHO was a hit and miss in the PL last season and that has reasons. First of all, he is not a right winger and rarely played there at youth level. He was used as a winger or as a second striker. He can play as a right winger because of his talent, but you take away a lot of his tempo dribbling and scoring abilities when he plays asa right winger. But he has very good crossing abilities, which he can use on the right side. Judging players that play out of their best position is what Chelsea fans did a long time with RLC. When he played as a no. 6 under Mourinho in the CL or when he played no. 10 under Hiddink or as a stiker when he played under Conte. People always criticised him and when Sarri played him as a no. 8, which is his best position for people who have not seen him play at youth level. RLC even was saying that he is a no. 8, but his coaches did not use him there. That is one reason. Second reason is that last season he was playing with a shit Azpi and when you watch the games, CHO often was alone, while Hazard on his left side had Alonso or Emerson to give Hazard more freedom. CHO often times was just alone there and CHO is not Messi and will never be Messi. Azpi does a really bad job to give his right wingers more freedom.
  21. Because Silva was a better player than Pulisic at Monaco when he was 22 or 23 years old with way more potential. At Monaco, he was playing really, really well and was one of their best performers. I always wanted him here back then. Sadly, we did not go for him
  22. Pulisic has all season to show his skills and I give him enough time, but he has to show his worth. CHO did not play in his best position and still performed. Also, he is way more physical than Pulisic and CHO will perform if he recovers from his injury. Right now, it seems to me that Pulisic struggles with the physicality of the PL. Bernardo Silva for instance is more or less the same size as Pulisic and Silva showed way more at Monaco than Pulisic did at Dortmund. Silva is way better at dribbling and can pass the ball better. He also seems to know when to pass at the right time and that makes a big difference. Let´s see how Pulisic develops this season. He needs to explode sometime in this season, or Chelsea will buy another player next season
  23. The question is how good Pulisic really is. He has potential, but right now, he needs to step up und get better. He was not a starter last season for Dortmund and I would not mind getting a top talent. I don´t see that many good talents from our youth that currently are playing wingers (Castillo for me is a LB). If that guy is cheap, we can´t do anything wrong. Also, does Zaha want to come to us? I would not mind a winger partnership between CHO and Zaha. CHO as a left winger and Zaha as a right winger. But Zaha could cost us 80 to 100 mio.
