  1. Of course wars and tax cuts are to be avoided. Never said anything else. Man, Trump was against the war against Iraq. Also, since you only wish to speak about the United States, then most expensive schools there are private schools (schools that the government does not own), same goes with hospitals. If they wish to have a high price on their services then they are free to do so. Just like John the carpenter can charge whatever he thinks is a good price for his service. That's life. If you want the government to regulate everything you say and do, then you can be against this. Also, I see you are from Belgium. The random brown people are not so random. They are who the governments believe to be the heads of ISIS, the ones who are responsible for the attacks on Brussels and Paris. That's a whole new topic though. If you think companies and the businessmen are not the ones that provide the citizens with jobs, while also being the ones that keep all economies going, then I think you might need to think some more about it. Same thing here. Except that, instead of working at Starbucks (or a place like that), they stay at home and get money from the government. Then they realize how easy it is to just stay at home and get money for nothing they milk it for every cent they can get! A lot of people think that a degree=more respect in life. So if they have a degree, working at a factory, while waiting for the right job to come, is below them.
  2. hahahhaa what are you on about? We are talking about schools! Not the military budget of one nation (I was talking schools worldwide), corporations nor China.
  3. I can only tell you that in my country, which has been the "basic healthcare, free education" type for a very long time, the companies are having a hard time getting people to work in their factories, since everyone has this or that degree and consider themselves to be above working in a factory. Don't know the problem in other countries. You would be surprised how many factories are in America and Europe though. No one is saying that we should work for 30 cents an hour. Also, the goal for every company is to make as much money as possible, so if they see that they make more money by moving their factories to Asia (but keep everything else in America/Europe, along with providing a lot of people jobs), can you really blame them? Tax cuts are of no need when the tax is low enough in the first place. Companies get tax cuts because they keep the economy going and provide citizens with jobs.
  4. How much do you think it costs to keep huge schools going, with research with the best people around in their respective fields (imagine the payments they want), the best teachers (imagine what they also want), other staff, huge buildings, grants to promising and exceptional students and much more?
  5. Maybe it shouldn't, but it does. Money matters most, and to do all this you speak of you need money. Its easy to say "tax the rich! (Who are the ones offering us our jobs in the first place)". The United States are losing big companies and big tax payers to overseas countries because they don't want to pay such a high tax. Of course you can say "they shouldn't leave! they have a moral obligation to stay... etc....", but they are leaving and that's how the world works. I really don't want to go in depth to politics and the costs of giving everyone everything. I can say that I live in one of these countries that Sanders says are so great because of their "socialism", and I can also tell you that it fucking sucks and makes it very hard to really accomplish your goals. Margaret Thatcher, the iron lady "Socialist governments traditionally do make a financial mess. They (socialists) always run out of other people's money. It's quite a characteristic of them".
  6. That depends on your political views, of course.
  7. Shows how much "left" the world is when Sanders isn't considered "extreme left" lol
  8. You Belgian Courtois defenders have to agree that these words are very distasteful. Trying to be sarcastic or? No one is saying we don't want talented players like those 3. We also want players who like the CLUB and want to play for the CLUB. No fan wants mercenaries on his team. While Thibo goes with a kind of "get better quality players or I will leave" speech, he is playing sub-par. That is what is bothering the fans.
  9. Funny how they can be so far away from each other on the political spectrum. I imagine that if the finals will be between Trump and Sanders, who the ultimate victor will weight in a lot to politics around the world.
  10. After last game you never know. I think Guus is a reasonable man. If he feels having two strikers up front is the best way to go, I think he will do just that.
  11. I agree! I feel he doesn't get enough plaudits for that clearance, as its a "split second to think" affair. I did not expect anyone to say he is the new Anelka though, lol!
  12. Does anyone know why Kenedy was taken off at half time? Injury? (he did receive a big tackle near half time) or tactical? I thought he was having a good game
  13. He is getting back from a big injury Quoted the wrong post. Was gonna quote Leif on the Colkett thing.
  14. Imagine if Costa was doing everything Fellaini does
  15. Althought, we have to keep in mind that Fergie lost one of the hottest players in Pogba because of the same thing you are praising.
  16. I don't rate him that much either today. He is only 21 years old so I have no doubt I will rate him later in life. Was Ashley Cole the best LB in the world when he was 21?
  17. If there is one player we have that could handle that, it would be Willian.
  18. He is home-grown as well. Actually denied to go on loan, just to become home-grown, for a year! He has been doing well at Watford, and is by no means worse than what we have now. Having Aké would mean options at CDM and LB. Having Kenedy means having options at LW, RW, ST and LB. Not sure Baba can play anything but LB though. We would be pretty set with these three. Jay Dasilva is still too young to get starts just yet, IMO. Although, he is one of the most exciting youth player we have right now, again IMO.
  19. Pretty much because he performed better in games than they both. KdB was woeful in some games! Probably did more in practice as well. Mourinho slated KdB for being woeful in practice as well. Maybe he needs competition in order to light a fire up his ass and make him perform!
