  1. What is it with you Aussies -is the football really that shit down under ? Wecome mate .
  2. It looks like they've actually done some work on corners for once. For that 3rd, Torres was standing on the line then just sprinted out to the near post as if it was planned to flick on. On each goal, Torres genuinely looked happy that we'd scored, punching the air in celebration. He's beginning to look like part of the team now rather than an outsider :blue scalf:
  3. I wouldnt even expect a Sp*ds fan to call Lampard, Cech, Terry, Drogba et al -all title winning legends a ''cancer''. Disgraceful
  4. Its not neccesarily true -but the Guardian is probably the last rag to make stuff up. A sweeping kneejerk clear out would have been awful -nearly all on this forum wanted Kalou out a year ago. Transition should be smooth, not wholesale eradication because players are 30 + or to fulfil some Fantasy Football transfer wet dream of internet warriors. There are virtues for both. its called continuity planning.
  5. Quite a telling insight into what he wanted to do -including getting rid of Cech http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/mar/29/petr-cech-chelsea-andre-villas-boas
  6. Welcome to my world Mr Ramires. If I had a pound for every away trip I was so bolloxed that I didnt know what went on -I'd have about £50. Probably
  7. We need an atmosphere as the 12th man instead of angry internet/TV posters and watchers...shame they dont realise this
  8. Fuck that I am going to be a TV fan for the return leg http://www.footballs...-ticket-prices/ ''Meanwhile, Benfica are selling tickets for the Lisbon leg for €30; and tickets to Bayern Munich’s game against Marseille start at €35. Benfica and Bayern can guarantee an atmosphere both rousing and hostile: because the people in the cheap seats will clap their hands. But at Stamford Bridge, we may be reliant upon those with an £83.50 ticket to rattle their jewellery''
  9. Too right -and if its the Ropey League next season we'll be seeking players from Sunderland and Villa not Ronaldo and Higuain
  10. Apologies if already posted but the Telegraph seems to be straying into The Sun/goal.com territory with this Lion Witch and Wardrobe fantasy bowlocks especially when theres not a shred of evidence http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/9166356/Chelsea-sizing-up-80m-summer-move-for-Real-Madrids-Cristiano-Ronaldo-and-Gonzalo-Higuain.html
  11. Think theres bit more to it to be honest. Tragic a 13 year old should die
  12. More of it going on now http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-17496555
  13. Lacklustre all over the pitch against a sporadic spurs. Whether it was because of lunchtime kick off on a balmy day, most of the play was like a training game. The warming up and approach had no compariosn in relation to the importance of the game -there really needs to be more focus
  14. Vauable for certain games but would have been a complete waste of space trying to overturn a 3-1 deficit
  15. SSN are on about Abramovich offering Guadiola £10m for 4 years....
  16. Would hate to see him go -one beacon of light in a lacklustre season so far.
  17. Time for the players to perform 100% as they did against Napoli
  18. Mikel was immense last night -fans either love him or hate him =Marmite Man
  19. Lets spank em 4 -0. JT has to play we dont win games without him 3 points or no CL simples
  20. .. starting to play a bit like a homeless alcoholic as well as look like one...
