  1. They ought to do that. 23 years ago -I can still remember watching it unfold -the Forest fans continued to hurl abuse, but to be fair no one knew 96 people had died by then...and about 800 injured. Until South Yorkshire cops are held accountable, the Justice for Hillsborough campaign will continue
  2. On paper -yes its not played on paper- , Yids should nick it as they have a superior midfield, but as the late Ali McCleod said ''Footballs strange''. I just hope its done and dusted in 90 minutes with Barca waiting in the wings.....
  3. Sounds like him and Kalou would make a good double act
  4. Your Gourlays dream fan Ulster I bet your son is excited ! I noticed Bayern and Madrid have gone down the gold road as well -looks a bit blingy camp to me. Ron Harris wouldnt like it.
  5. Wait a month into the season and theyll be £35 in JJB.
  6. It wouldnt be his decision -someone on the board would decide
  7. If its a 4 game ban -ie the appeal is rejected, means he'll miss the barcodes game
  8. Most will, but because their refusal to play could cost us silverware -so some wont. You off to wemberlee Dave ?
  9. Get ready on Sunday for the inevitable Liverpool leaning commentator to say ''how disgraceful Spurs and Chelsea fans are for not acknowledging the minutes silence''
  10. Initially I feared for Sunday -ie that Sp*ds and Chelsea wont adhere to the minutes silence. Now I'm in two minds and I would fear I would break the silence along with undoubtably many more on Sunday. I await the sanctimonious press condemnation on Monday. Mind you, if it wasnt the minutes silence on Sunday it would be the minutes applause for a linesman that had left football in the 80s and had subsequently died of natural causes, so is the need to grieve in Britain now
  11. This guy has it spot on. Davies has comitted a ''thought crime'' against Liverpool http://blogs.telegra...al-correctness/ Scroll down for the podcast -he says Liverpool have made it hard for Chelsea by refusing to play http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2128184/Comedian-Alan-Davies-jokes-wearing-Scouser-fancy-dress-fallout-Hillsborough-comment-continues.html
  12. The same FA that appealed Rooney's deliberate kick to get his ban reduced, that are charging Ivanovic with a supposed punch, and yet blatantly ignoring Maloney's initial elbowing of Ivanovic and not Balotelli for a deliberate act of thuggery on Alex Song. ....seem to be complete bunch of cunts
  13. Last chance for Wembley tickets today http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2730945,00.html
  14. Alan Davies has now offered Liverpool £1000 but they have turned it down. if we ever get Liverpool on or thereabouts 22nd October we should refuse to play as its the anniversary of the death of Matthew Harding
  15. Spawny ponytailed cart horse scores at last
  16. oh dear if it stays like this our west london rivals are in the drop zone
  17. All very nice fantasy football stuff -including the romanticism about the youngsters. 'Josh' as people call him, is too lightweight to ever be a midfield maestro, cant even get in the Swans side The reality is we know that Abramovich will sanction the inevitable marquee signing -and there may be one or two mid priced additions and some of the players that people are screaming to be shot of. will still at SW 6. But I dont think it will be the wholesale FM changes that some crave.
  18. Watching Black bum v Pool. Mad. Liverpool 2 0 up then get keeper sent off , Yakubu with the tamest of penalties , saved by Liverpool reserve keeper. Yakubu just made it 2-1. 10 man Liverpool for next hour -come on Black bum
  19. The whole thing is a mess from the FA, to Alan Davies to Kenny Dalglish and LFC fans Sunday could be mental -and I think there will be a sizeable minority of yid and Chels that wont keep schtum during the minutes silence
  20. On a similar note, some authorities and observers, appear to have lost sight of the distinction between football and society. In recent years they have overinflated the importance of football as a substitute to try to fill the gap where our society’s public and political life ought to be. It seems there cant be a death nowadays without an out pouring of collective grief and sympathy, mountains of flowers, and tears from people who act as if they know the deceased from watching on TV. It started with the death of Lady Di, a collective hysteria that bears no resemblance to reality -and Liverpool in particular seem to have developed the minutes silence into an art form -though perhaps they should also consider the murdered at Heysel....
  21. I think he makes a good point. Liverpool always play on the anniversary of when the fans were murdered in Heysel, Yernited play on the Munich anniversary and so do Rangers on the anniversary of Ibrox disaster. Dont get me wrong it was a terrible catastrophe -but there hardly seems to be a game now without some mawkish remembrance of someone or something http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2127608/Alan-Davies-causes-outrage-mocking-Liverpools-refusal-play-Hillsborough-anniversary.html
  22. 1300 extra tickets on sale tomorrow. It's either Spurs returns or the 6 kick off on the Sunday has put some of whoever gets the other 20,000 seats off
  23. Nice 4-0 confidence booster for Everton ahead of their FA semi v the Murderers
