True. If Cole had stood by his tweet, and not apologised, the FA would have to ban him to save face -they would then look like total arseholes to many more people than they already do, by losing Capello, Cole, and Terry because of some mythical moral high ground, and to keep the coffers full with the Kick it Out campaign

Dan Levene. Dont always agree with his take on things Chels, but now he is talking sense 10 Flaws in the Terry case http://sulia.com/channel/chelsea-fc/f/54c8f580-99c9-40ac-98dc-3f36bdd4620a/?source=twitter

We have a different team now, bristling with young talent. We will put the yids in their place
-
Best thing that could happen now would be if he sacked off England. The FA would then have lost Capello, Terry, and Cole over something that 'might' have been said. Surely then there positions would be 'untenable' ?

There's a wider issue here, let alone the notion of free speech. Endemic within 'respectable' institutions like the FA, the government, the ICC, universities, the House of fucking lords etc is where the real racism lies. Go to any hospital, university, college and there is a far higher proportion of black and ethnic staff who do all the menial jobs, like catering and cleaning. This institutional racism is endemic in the FA and all its offshoots -you just have to look at the absence of any black faces in 'top' jobs -its all white middle aged men at the FA. lets ignore that, and pick on an ill educated working class player and make up our minds what he said regardless of what was really said, then we can be all smug, and ignore the findings of a court. Hypocritical cunts the lot of 'em

Shearer saying Cole should be banned from International and Club football. Thick geordie twat should stick to mumbling the blatantly obvious script on MOTD, and keep his stultifyingly ill informed comments to himself
-
Yes Brendan Rogers, you were spot on when you said Suarez gets nothing from refs :clown:
-
To Paul Doyle - So you want people found not guilty sacked ?. And you're ''chief sports writer'' ?? Take your head out of the big pseudo politcally correct arsehole and try and score brownie points in an original way

Cole is greatly underrated as a footballer, and looking at the great pile of shit that is the FA and media, he is massively underrated as a person and a professional. To tell him hes not having the armband for his 100th appearance is childish and pathetic If he hadnt said sorry the FA wouldnt know what to do, they couldnt risk losing the best left back as well as Capello, Terry, and Hodgson would probably have gone as well. To me it's a real shame he's "apologised", he's been a far better servant to England than any of those self serving institutionalised racists/sexists at the FA.

Fergie time, and theres a lot of it, is only played when they are drawing or losing at 90 mins
-
The pace won't ever fully come back but he can still be a highly productive striker in this team. His problem is that he could score a hat trick against Norwich and follow it up with a brace against Donesk but a miss the following weekend will still see him go into his shell, sulking He's still working hard for team, he wants to get the ball which is why he goes out wide to get it sometimes, but that also means no one is in the middle trying to make a run. I think he could score 20 goals this season for us and the media would still label him a failure.

Dortmund were excellent. And their support was fanatstic-sold out 5500 in a day and a half -check it out in Manchester https://twitter.com/casualmind_/status/253534444680511488 Shouldnt have had a penalty against them either
-
I think the bloke who wrote the article probably has too much time on his hands, but he makes some salient points. Refs do generally favour home teams because of the crowd pressure etc, but at the Theatre of Shit its taken to a different level with Fergie Time etc What I notice is media bias as well -eg this morning on BBC radio 5 they rightly in the Sports News, headlined with Celtics win in Moscow. They then mentioned a good win for Manchester Utd at Cluj, the Rooney/Persie partnership, Utds defensive frailities, and a brief interview with Ferguson, When it came to the Champions of Europe it was mentioned right at the end of the bulletin........ ''Chelsea also won in Denmark''.
-
Fuckin' hell how many Danish fans we got ? Almost the whole ground erupted when we scored

Interesting read -Choulo and our lebanon friends might know these musings on Beirut life Referees that Ferguson criticizes dont ref Man Utd games again - http://diminbeirut.t...-out-there.html

In reply to those above asking will the club sack him The FA Punishment is for him using 'abusive and/or insulting words which made reference to colour and/or race' - He admitted saying the words in court (and again at the FA hearing), so the minute he made the admission he was always going to get found guilty by the FA. The key point is that he's guilty of saying the words, the context is irrelevant in terms of the FA's punishment, but a court of law found him innocent of making a racially abusive remark. The club would never sack him. The other good news is that he has 14 days to appeal from when he receives the report so will play against Noriwch all being well

John Terry retires from England duty
Fulham Broadway replied to TacticalBlues's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Its an early England exit from every tournament if Rio 'Plug from the Bash Street kids' Ferdiand has the central defence role. He was run ragged by the Yids yesterday. Appalling -
Who ?

Pat Nevin; ''The new-look side are a far more helter-skelter, kamikaze outfit, still experimenting with an unfamiliar style, with all the flaws, foibles and fragilities that entails.'' I'll settle for a point -goons looked good last weekend
