  1. Good. He's a Mourinho player and we need more of those in order to be successful. Lukaku has the potential to be a better player, given his age, and he has played and scored in this League, so lets have them both.
  2. Apparently they have saved £15.6m for 2014-15 season on Luiz, Coles and Lampards wages alone so far. (Prob spend that on keeping Hazard n Oscar)
  3. The 'fuck off the gooners' dividend is worth paying an extra five million for
  4. Focussing on him as a player, it'd be mad to complain if we bought him. That said, there are better players out there IMO and I'm not sure he's ever reached the heights people tipped him for, on a personal basis. He is also frightened of celery, but that's secondary in the scheme of things
  5. ..and the 20+ goals a season wont be matched any time soon. Also if he had a crap game, you knew he'd be back the next one and score. The other thing I liked about him were the post match interviews. The interviewer would undoubtably ask obvious or simplistic questions with which lampard would not patronise, but answer with a twinkle in his eye that said 'you thick cunt'. Right, onwards and upwards, still I expect Rubber Bullets is pleased now useless Frank has gone
  6. Yup a lot of female fans liked him I have started to today still in a bit of disbelief. Looking at the midfield options is difficult right now, but I am sure the club have worked it all out, and which midfielder they will get 20 goals a season from now He came as a young Hammer with some promise and with sheer hard work, dedication and professionalism, he has become a real Chelsea man, achieved legendary status and leaves as a true world class performer who has won everything in the club game for our beloved Chelsea. Never will we see such tenure, achievements and this is why Frank Lampard is the best I've seen in Blue amidst 13 trophy infested years.
  7. There were a few random tweets last week about a pre season against Bolton...
  8. Hopefully can return to the club in the future in some capacity. Not as manager though, he'd only end up getting sacked
  9. Some good posts written so far, and commendations very few players will receive. Just like to add he was born into a footballing family - a relatively wealthy family, enabling him to go to a good school where he excelled academically, and from which could have chosen another career. Luckily for chelsea fans he didn't, and the result, which I am certain led to a brilliant reading and anticipation of the game, gave us that rare phenomenum, an intelligent footballer. Chelseas all time top goalscorer, with an A* in Latin has left the building.
  10. Yup those 3 Strike. Sooooo many as well... Villa Park every one went radio rental. Wembley, Moscow, Everton, free kick versus the yids, Arsenal... Irreplaceable, and arguably Chelseas greatest player ever.
  11. .quote name="zolayes" post="914853" timestamp="1401731029"]so what is wrong with what Lambert said .. no difference ,, I hate scumpool but I wont criticise Lambert I am sorry but I am not going to be part of a Lambert love in. I am Chelsea and biased. Everyone who signs says the same old tired rehearsed drivel....history...lifelong supporter...proper fans...peoples club ....blablabla. I despise them and everything they stand for along with their self pitying , whining, murdering fans.
  12. Dont forget the agents role in this. Its probably the agent trying to get the best (and you cant blame him) and most money out of the club for his client. JT took the offer, Cole did not, Lampard may or may not - But the club's approach is entirely sensible to me. What makes less sense is why they didn't sort this all out in January and therefore have a conclusion before the end of the season where we all knew where we stood.
  13. Sure as ever, the script that everyone says when signing for the Murderers Rickie Lambert on his £4million move to Liverpool: "I can't believe it. I've loved this club all my life. To be back here now is hard to describe."
  14. more in the Guardian http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jun/01/frank-lampard-sheikh-mansour-new-york-city I'd give him half a season give him a proper send off. He's going to the World Cup as England vice-captain after all, he's not quite on the scrap heap yet. When you see who's interested in him and Cole, it makes the decision to part company look even more questionable.
  15. Agreed. However I can only think the blonde assassin is Abramovichs latest Shevchenko/Roy of the Rovers, and could demand playing time. Although you'd think by now he would realise hes not all that
  16. Fernando loves Stevie http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/fernando-torres-felt-like-king-3618472 Torres is going nowhere, and I could honestly see Mourinho having a tissy fit and leaving because of it, somewhere down the line
  17. Nice payout for Pocohontas in 12 months time then when he is sacked from the toxic environment of Sp*rs.
