''Conte, Conte, Conte, Antonio Cooooonte'' To the tune of ''Dont You Want me Baby'' like we did for Di Matteo
-
I am not so sure. Not sanctioning specific targets has a disastous effect on a teams aspirations and also on the remaining players -which is often overlooked. I could say to you ''And dont start with the blaming it on the Real Madrid scenario''. You have no proof. The POY belgian 'individual' for 2014-15 was definitely not performing amongst several others -that is a certainty along with Abramovich surrounding himself with self seeking money orientated, non football yes people. Anyway I hope Conte is left alone. The clue is in your last sentence though ''I dont know exactly what happened...'' No, no one does

It will never happen. If you dont back the best manager this club ever had given a second chance, you will never back anyone. Changes his mind too often and Indulges the 'yes roman' board too much.
-
Out by Christmas, due to 'palpable dischord' but it'll be the fault of the individual. Not the fifty agents buzzing in Roman's ear, not the chancers on the board he employs to run the club, not the 100 odd players we've got on our books or anyone else, definitely not

If they want him, he should go along with it. Then with all the build up, at the press conference, he should tell them to "shove it where the sun dont shine" .And use those exact words.

Yes and we attended before when we were shit, and will long after the Bucks stopped

The trophies were sweeter as they were few and far between

After following the Blues home and away for 20 years when we were a close knit club rather than the present corporate circus, this was fucking beautiful https://youtu.be/PJWKK-tL9-k

I am sure the media are making more of this than necessary -still the faithful at the Bridge arent going to take too kindly to these remarks as hes hardly covered himself in glory up to now , and 'Flappy' needs to concentrate on his game more

Nice one OFG. Still have programmes where he was a regular No 11 on the back. The days when there were no substitutes -just one 'reserve'. When men were men, jumpers for goalposts etc

Top Chelsea winger -killed 39 years ago today with his wife and friends. He didn't miss a match during the 1969–70 season. His most significant contribution to Chelsea came in their FA Cup success in 1970, with Houseman scoring a total of 6 goals in that season's competition. His first 2 goals came when Chelsea faced Burnley in the fourth round; after a draw a Stamford Bridge, the side travelled to Burnley's home ground, Turf Moor, for the replay and, with eighteen minutes left, were trailing 1–0. Houseman picked up the ball in his own half and dribbled through the Burnley midfield, riding several challenges. He reached the opposition penalty area and smashed a shot into the top corner to equalise. In extra time, Houseman provided the cross for Tommy Baldwin to put Chelsea ahead, and then completed the comeback by scoring the third. He scored again in the 4–1 away win at Crystal Palace in the fifth round, and then in the semi-final against Watford, with the Second Division side holding Chelsea at 1–1, Houseman again played a key part, crossing for Osgood to give Chelsea a 2–1 lead and then adding two more himself in an eventual 5–1 win. Chelsea faced Leeds United in the final, and it was Houseman who scored Chelsea's first equaliser just before half time, his low shot from 25 yards benefiting from the poor pitch to elude Leeds goalkeeper Gary Sprake, though he spent much of the game trying to cover the team's over-stretched defence. The match ended 2–2 and Chelsea won the replay at Old Trafford to take the cup. RIP

Emanalo and the board already have Contes transfers lined up for next season. In the light of Baba and Papa, we are signing an African from the Slovakian league div 3 called ''Haha'' who will be immediately loaned out, to Rotherham. A 38 year old striker from the MLS even though he will fail the medical, and two unknowns to be immediately loaned to Vitesse. Conte is said to be ''delighted'' , but close sources say the opposite, and that he is ''well fucked off'' about it. Conte will grit his teeth, take the reputed £12 million, and then succumb to the revolving door.

Few years ago that would have been a way out there suggestion -but it aint so uncommon round the Bridge these days. Surrounded by non-football 'yes' people -its no wonder its a shambles. The inconsistency is staggering. it seemed like for a brief period Roman was happy for Jose to have the say on incomings and outgoings which then got taken out of his hands yet again and it seems like it all depends which way the wind's blowing and who Roman decides to listen to on any given day. If you have one philosophy and you stick to it, at least you can know whether it's working or not. But when one day you ask agents to deal with things, the next day ask Marina, the next ask Emenalo, the next ask the manager etc. . then it's a recipe for disaster. You'll never get any sort of consistency & standard to go by, and you'll never be able to really nail the responsibility onto any one person (which is why simply sacking the manager only is papering over the cracks and ignoring the crux of the problem). All I can see is rinse and repeat with Conte.

Back in the stands grinning with his mates then. Not sure we'll see him in a Chelsea shirt many more times...
-
The Buckenalo will be grazing nearby keeping an eye on him....
-
or just a contract to play, hes probably doesnt need one for fucking. Cant see the board giving him a contract tbh, they seem to want anyone out who appears more Mr Chelsea than they deem healthy. Watch him have a succesful mini career somewhere else now ala Cech, Drogba, Lampard...
-
The lad did well, but we were pretty pony. I think it was all about his reluctance to fight his way into the team and his tell tale stories to the media. Jose couldn't promise starts so he was off never to return. Jose and Lukaku messed it up between them.
-
Would love to see our legend Sparky+Terry dream team. Both know the league inside out. They wouldn't take any shit or passengers. But that would be the problem -we cant have single minded managers allowed freedom, someone like Bilic or Sparky need autonomy and wouldnt take all the Abramovich ex-Sibneft employees, along with Micky Emanoclue sticking their oars in.

Theres going to be some great North london rants by fat black blokes outside the Emirates about Wenger shortly

Have a feeling I will have been on the pitch more than he ever will

Will the Board get it right this summer?
Fulham Broadway replied to bellion's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Abramovich chooses the board, and Maria, Buckenalo etc choose the manager and have the final say over the selling, signing and loaning. Make of that what you will. With the looming of the Ropey League it's vital for the club that we qualify for it and get a good run in it next season. No CL football for our club is a massive body blow in our ability to attract the quality of players needed and we simply will not get the players we need. We will also end up paying over the odds for players of lower quality with no heart or balls. (See Man Utd & Liverpool in previous/current seasons). A number of the current players will be talking to their agents today about getting out of here as rats don't like to be on a sinking ship. Oh, and John Terry needs to be given a contract extension! -
We looked average, a mid table team, which is what we are, thanks to the board sitting on their laurels. PSG walkIng theIr league, versus too many passengers. No Lampards, Terrys, Drogbas to galvanise. New signings for 2016-17 a must.
