  1. Tbh it's expected. An upward battle, the media talking up every team we play, and with every game being an opponents cup final from now on
  2. In that case, it could play to our advantage, Re yesterday so funny the press in genuine surprise that a well drilled, supremely fit side. joint third in the Home results table manages to draw with Chelsea
  3. City scraped a late win 2-1 there and Arsenal an even later win with a hand ball goal... they drew away at old Trafford and as everyone knows after this weekend they've turned everyone else over... let's see if city can win tonight or if bournemouth can put in a performance like they did against Arsenal at home... Swansea at home for me is huge as I think Man City play Liverpool that day.
  4. So far today is a load of 'expert' pundits tell the press what it takes to beat us or cause us problems based on yesterday's game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we drew a game in which the goal we conceded was from a well struck fee-kick - Maybe I missed us getting beaten 4-0?
  5. They have a good home record - potential banana skin - Dyche will be saying go out and bash those Southern softies (shit stirring pot emoticon)
  6. City hovering above the relegation zone, they'd be bottom and 10 points adrift without Tammy. Amazes me why they gave Lee Johnson a contract renewal, blokes an idiot
  7. ARSENE Wenger has been warned that he has until 2029 to win the Premier League or face the consequences. The unprecendented warning from the club’s board comes after a mere 12 years of failure to win the league even when nobody else is trying to. CEO Ivan Gazidis said: “The club cannot go on like this. We need change and we need it within the next decade and a bit. “Otherwise, difficult as it would be to dismiss a 79-year-old with his best years in management still ahead of him, Mr Wenger could find himself looking for a new job.” But fan Norman Steele said: “This short-termist hire-and-fire mentality is everything that is wrong with modern football. “Wenger needs time to build a team, then build another team, then build a team again. “Plus by 2021 Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby’s sons will be available and when they play they’ll feel like new signings.”
  8. What he meant was with all his touchline bans he's going to sit in the clock end
  9. Haha yes UJ agree with that. Conversely in the 70s and 80s remember shitting myself at Leeds, Wolves, Millwall....until your mob of 10-15 met up with 200-300 more Chels. Then I was billy big bollox
  10. ''summoned for careless driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance'' wasn't pissed and didn't hit anyone thank god, but what a knob end If Chelsea want to make a big statement to youths about behaviour then Tammy appears to have given them the perfect chance. I'd be more worried about losing my career at SB than what a court may do.
  11. Time to get off Costas back- he was bought for aggression, determination, and sheer goals. What he lacks in finesse is made up for in situations that Lukaku melts in. So swings and roundabouts, but right now hes taking us to the title.
  12. Leicesters Gray has been watching Hazard v Arse. Nice goal though
  13. That Sky interview where he talks about bollocking his assistant, and the explanation of the message he wanted passing on: "basically, what happened is that before the game, in training, we had clearly prepared a number of situations arising from corners and so forth, and on that occasion Arsenal had a sixth man in the box, and that meant that [Victor] Moses, who was originally meant to be on the edge of the area, had to go mark the sixth man. "In such cases, Kante needs to move back from his usual position further forward next to Costa, to take Moses’ place further back, so as not to leave that part of the box uncovered. They failed to do that, and I got angry [with Angelo]." Love the level of detail and work we are clearly putting in...
  14. Yeah its great -means 'orrible speculators cant nick it off us ala Millwall -or the name, we own 'Chelsea Football Club' as well
  15. Nothing, probably one of the best things about the club
  16. I think its better the CPO own it, that's how we're managing to stay at SB
  17. It was good time to be a fan though, total buzz most of the time. Top English league wasn't that good before TV money, us before Abramovich, Citeh before the arab money, Chinese clubs before state intervention ...aye there gold in them football hills.....
  18. Lol true. TBH we were shit more than outstanding, but that made the victories sweeter. We were never shit off the pitch though
  19. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4159270/Chelsea-s-Ivanovic-talks-Zenit-St-Petersburg.html There were pictures on twitter of brana after that cup game basically stood looking at the Matthew Harding stand. He seemed a bit emotional, like he was saying goodbye, so i wouldn't be surprised if the link above turns out to be true. He's been a warrior for us. Superb signing. I just hope he gets a good send off when he does eventually go, and gets remembered fondly by all Chelsea supporters, (I'm sure he will by most, if not all on this site) it's what he deserves, not like some of the unfair stick he has received by some in the past 18 months or so imo. .
  20. From ecoli burgers and cold tea to Singa beer and Balti pies
  21. Well done Iggy, some great pics , and as you say the memories come flooding back, Some weird, like those bogs by the Bovril stand - used to dread needing a slash as they'd be ankle deep in piss with sea of fag ends floating on top
  22. About time. It's amazing how hes got away before with his touchline antics, yet others get charged
  23. Theres a hell of a difference between the 'seeing ' and 'non seeing' player when theres a clash of heads. I know have been there. Hope Masons career isn't over
