Think he got it right last night. The bloke is in his first season. A season in which he was hired late, so he had no prep time and a shortened pre-season. A season in which many of the players had a shortened pre-season due to the World Cup. AND he was tasked with completely overhauling our style of play away from defensive football and moving to possession based attacking football. If you would have suggested to fans at the start of the season that we would be in 4th place this season with a shot to win the Europa most would have taken that for a success. But once you decide you hate Sarri, that consumes all logic.
There is the wider issue of social media fuelling extreme opinions and everything having to fit a particular narrative, with no middle ground anymore. No one is 100% great and 100% crap.
He’s far from perfect but he is what he is, and this would be a tricky job for anyone at the moment.
