  1. Well done Iggy, some great pics , and as you say the memories come flooding back, Some weird, like those bogs by the Bovril stand - used to dread needing a slash as they'd be ankle deep in piss with sea of fag ends floating on top
  2. About time. It's amazing how hes got away before with his touchline antics, yet others get charged
  3. Theres a hell of a difference between the 'seeing ' and 'non seeing' player when theres a clash of heads. I know have been there. Hope Masons career isn't over
  4. You're having a laugh, its pronounced 'Haysyou' Hes not the Messiah
  5. 12 wins out of our last 17 remaining games gives us 88 points and in the majority of seasons that is enough. In order to get level with that, Spurs & Liverpool have to win 14 Games and draw 1 of their last 17 plus they have to play each other and three each of the current top six. Arsenal have to win 14 and draw 2 of their last 17 games and also play four out of the current top six including Spurs and Liverpool. That is a big ask for those three teams with the fixtures they have left. We also have to play Liverpool & Arsenal but more importantly have already played the current eight bottom teams AWAY from home. Whilst seven of them still have to come to the Bridge and will be fighting hard, I'd rather have tricky homes games against teams like that than playing away which all of the other three have various away games to battle with. The fact that none of those 8 teams is currently isolated and therefore not guaranteed to go down may work in our favour. Burnley,West Ham, United, Everton & West Brom away will be tough games for us but if results go our way, which is entirely possible, draws may not be an issue by then as every time we win from now on it puts huge pressure on the others. If we lose a few games it won't be a disaster and no reason to panic as we have built a sufficient cushion to weather the odd storm.
  6. If city beat the scum the gap could be 10 points, the goons could then be 8 points behind, beat them at the bridge we will be looking very good
  7. Sp*ds new stadium looks impressive, they've thought of everything, NFL, concerts, restaurants, bars, clubs, bakery, micro brewery............. ....no sign of a Trophy room though.....
  8. If he goes its not such a big deal Oscar went for 60 million, so Diego would be at least 100 million, chuck in Mikels 20 million or whatever he went for and the Board have 200 million burning a hole in their pocket -Griezeman, Sanchez whoever they fancy is an option, so I don't see it particularly as a negative. That said I see him still here when we lift the trophy....
  9. Funny thing is before the Spurs game we were six points clear of second place, now it's seven. Long way to go and all of that but when we lost there was an awful lot shit written.
  10. Man City to beat Sp*rs in their next game would be good, just to keep the chasing pack in their place....
  11. Would have been the icing on the cake had that volley gone in....still....the Blue Machine rolls on
  12. If he wants to go to China for half a mill a week-wait to the end of the season Jorge Mendes a curse on you
  13. FFS this is all we need. This is what Pochettino, Klopp and Mourinho have been praying for
  14. Its all about the money -with China in mind in particular. More countries means more broadcasting revenue increasing by a few billion It also guarantees Infantinos re election in 2019, with all the smaller countries voting for him. With host countries needing 48 top class training facilities I expect the 2026 WC more than likely to be in the US
  15. Looks good -but has to get the nod from Mayor Khan. He became a Liverpool fan allegedly because abuse he got at ...guess which ground ?
  16. Am no Lions fan but the way they've been treated is disgusting. Neil Harris' Millwall side could be forced to move 75 miles away to the Kent coast He tweeted: “I hereby bring a hex down on @Lewisham Council & Renewal their greasy vampiric partners. May you be ill. May you have cancer as I ha d cancer.” Outside the ground, a banner reads: “We forget nothing, we forgive no one. You money-grabbing cunts.” Inside the ground on Saturday, another banner read: ‘Say no to CPO’. So, it looks as though the Lions will lose on Wednesday and the council will get their CPO. The South East London club are likely to appeal and then, you would hope, it will go to a public enquiry. Therefore, Neil Harris’ team reaching the fourth round of the FA Cup is an extremely good thing. It keeps the spotlight on the 2004 finalists. Steve Morison, Shaun Cummings and Shane Ferguson goals secured a deserved win over Bournemouth, whose boss Eddie Howe made 11 changes and was roundly condemned for it. Cummings said: “We’re trying to focus on what we as players have to do on the pitch. We know what is going on but we have a job to do.” It's a disgrace to be honest, makes you realise how unaccountable local government can be, their palms greased and given cash back handers so that a dodgy company like Renewal can buy the land.... (and people talk about bureaucracy in the EU...).
  17. Ah yes ! They were in the Victoria league if I remember rightly. There was an Aus girl on here for a while and she said the club went tits up
  18. Its weird though, growing up as a Chelsea fan in the 60s and 70s I remember a lot of us had Brentford as our 2nd team
  19. Detractors can fuck off. Not everyone's cup of tea but always made the effort, never moaned and had the game of his life in Munich. I'll miss defending him to muppets. African Zidane.
  20. Tonight never happened -watching Shawshank Redemption now
  21. It was Sp*ds revenge cup final. We didn't play badly, you watch us bounce back now and win the league.
  22. Yids going 3 at the back as well -what a wonderful compliment to Conte
  23. Tickets like gold dust. Due to our position and allocation.
  24. We are going to beat Ajax winning streak of 26 -though Welsh club TNS won their 27th in a row last week. (actually East Kilbride did as well, but not a recognised top league but Ajax were really cool about it all though, they congratulated them and even sent 27 crates of beer to East Kilbride after they won the 27th game! )
