Theyre really fucking desperate to restart matches. The PL were paid £9.2 billion just for TV coverage this season, and if it doesn't restart they have to pay about half of that back. Then theres matchday ticket revenue lost, again, billions. Looking forward -even if it is restarted in a shambolic way, there is no way Sky, BT or any of the foreign TV companies will pay the same now for next season. So expect less ridiculous transfer fees and stupid inflated wages. Not a bad thing imo.
