although that vid doesn't make justice to Garrincha (I've watched a couple of specials about him and he was an incredible dribbler) you do have a point about Eden resembling him. Depends on your standards. If you want to tell me that Oscar, Willian and even Hazard are known for their worldclass passing game then ok, you are free to believe what you want. Personally i think that their passing game is average (and when i am talking passing game i don't mean pass the ball around or to the keeper, i mean KEY passes). The thing is that any top team needs balance, it is ok to have a couple of workhorses as long as you also have some technical players who can make the difference when teams park the bus agaisnt us. At the moment the strong point of the majority of our players is workrate and this is not enough if we want to go to the very top. Key passes and Hazard ? Average? Have you seen his stats? He even approacjed Mata in that respect last year when Mata ruled the league in this respect. Sorry, I think that is nonsensical. Hazard had always been superb on making crititcal passes and assists and I pretty much saw every game since he was 16.

Kroos is a different type of player to those you've mentioned. Indeed, I saw him (Kroos) shine as an AMC. I thought he did much less well as a CM tbh .... He can play there of course, but it seems another square peg, round hole thing to even consider buying him as a pure CM.

The atmosphere on here seems to be toxic and fatalistic. We are very much on track - our goal was never the title in the first year. The idea was to build a solid foundation.
