Well played Atletico, will certainly be hoping the beat Real in the final. This game showed something that I think most knew, we lack the top quality that is needed to win these types of games. We'll be stronger next year.
-
Love this guy's link up play but I think we need someone who is much more clinical in front of goal than him. Wouldn't be upset if we signed him but I don't think he's exactly what we need.

Fun Chelsea survey? This is starting to get annoying. Instead of prentending to be a Chelsea fan, popping up on multiple Chelsea forums and spamming with your shit survey, how about just saying it how it is: you need people to complete your survey for professional reasons. Instead, you jump on here and other Chelsea forums when something good happens and you put some bollocks like '#noscouse' in an attempt to capitalise on Chelsea fans' good will following a splendid result.

Still chuckling to myself like a little boy thinking about that slip and the end result. This has ensured that, no matter what, this week will be awesome.
-
Terry for Kompany, Azpi for Shaw and Silva for Lallana. Kompany being there is really laughable.
-
Anyone know if Atletico are missing any key players due to injury or suspension?
-
Take a bow, legend. 16 points from 18 against the top 4. 0 goals conceded at Old Trafford, Anfield, Etihad, Emirates.
-
This is why I love you, my Chelsea.
-
It's surprising because it was reported that Mourinho said Terry's season was over unless we play in the CL final on 24 May.
-
Well, no matter how frustrating it is losing to Sunderland and probably surrendering the title to LFC (for this year only) - at least we are not Man Utd and stuck with David Moyes.
-
Whilst it is true this is Costa's first 'great' goal scoring season, he was actually very good last season but Falcao played as the '9' that season. This is his first season being the #1 centre forward, his record is not comparable to Cavani's.
-
Unfortunately, no chance of that happening. Suarez to score another hat-trick. It will be down to us to crush their hopes and dreams in true Chelsea style at Anfield, and I can't wait.

The notion of fining a club for breaching FFP rules is ludicrous, so much so that I can believe UEFA would actually go through with it.
-
Let's hope not. Hoping liverpool come at us all guns blazing, would suit us perfectly. Henderson being out is a pretty big loss for them too. I do hope Mourinho will make it very clear in his press conferences leading up to the game that Suarez needs to be watched for his diving. He needs to put pressure on the referees to curb the little rat bastard's play acting, we can't have a scenario where he is getting our players booked and even getting pens/FKs for nothing.

Shit, looks horrible. Sucks for him and Spain for the WC too.
-
Thought he made some good passes and generally played well. Look forward to seeing him back to his best.. also can't wait to see him in action at the WC
-
Perfect results for us today. If Toure really injured then that will be a massive downer for City, even if Aguero is just coming back. We're in a good position, made harder by our games against Atletico, which will be extremely draining, but you can bet your houses that this team will give everything. Can't wait for the Liverpool game, I'm sure we'll turn up - I'm actually more worried about playing the 'smaller' teams.

Holland: ' Eden Hazard should be fit sooner rather than later, we can't say for sure when, but a week's break is good for us (source - Chelsea fc Twitter)
-
Probably tomorrow since we play on a Sunday
-
Sure he meant we could take Atletico to civil court for reneging on a contract, not UEFA. This assumes the contract is valid and the clubs are happy to lose any semblence of goodwill.
-
I wonder what this Atletico team are like when other teams sit back and don't want to monopolise possesion. Seen them destroy Barcelona but we are a very different team... should be interesting. Does anyone know if Costa will be fit? I saw he was injured for the Barca game.
-
At least we play on Sunday afternoon having played on a Tuesday - should be enough time to rest for key players but not ideal. Expecting to win this fairly comfortably to be honest, Swansea have been shit since their league cup win.
-
Honestly not worried about who we get next. That may still be the euphoria of last night speaking, though. If I could choose, I'd love Real in the semis and then Bayern in the final - wouldn't mind making the Barca boys cry again though. Semis are always hard (heh) but once you get to that stage anyone can win it really, with the final so close. I'm excited.

I am going to do this now, a good excuse to buy a giant wood fired pizza from my local place to eat with the game.
-
Yeah, he's gone missing in so many games I'd totally forgotten about his existence. Do not want.
