Hopefully he gets this loan sorted out and he could play against city in the FA cup 3rd round. I was speaking to a friend earlier this morning(who goes to all Brighton matches and saw him) he was really impressed by Chalobah and his maturity+technique on the ball. Hope he is given an opportunity (when I say this, I mean more than 10 mins in a dead rubber game) here as he has outgrown the Championship at the age of 18. If anyone watches him regularly on here - how do you think he would fair in a 3 man midfield as the most defensive player (ala busquetes, just less of a twat), just behind to more attacking minded CMs. Or, is his technique so good that he would be wasted there and be better further forward so he can assist more in attacking build-up? Edit: looking at twitter all the Watford fans are thankful that he has been there and are hoping he stays, that speaks volumes in itself.

Can I just ask what on earth warrants such an extortionate agent fee? I have seen 2-5 million fucking pounds reported. For WHAT? These lot are taking the piss. If this is true and his agent genuinely asked for that much I hope negotiations broke down because the board went into a coma having pissed themselves laughing.

He seemed to be everywhere on the pitch. Still makes mistakes with poor touches and misplaced passes too frequently to be considered 'very good' but it is only his second PL game in midfield. I am sure he will improve that aspect of his game and thought he was excelled at breaking play up, even at times if it was somewhat cynical.

Really happy for frank, just hope he gets an extension to his contract, I will be mad if he leaves because the board refused to give him a contract because of his age. Yes, my preference would be to bring him back here as well. What I was suggesting was that, as is typical of Chelsea, if players were to be bought for large sums in his position then I would much rather he went back to Watford where he could play consistently rather than rotting on a bench with a manager too scared to play him for fear of the inevitable sack.

Glad the guy is with Zola . He should stay with Watford until the summer IMO and if they gain promotion then possibly stay another year, depending on the needs of Chelsea's first team (ie. if we buy in Jan/Summer). What he shouldn't have is a wasted year like Josh and Romelu had where he got no real playing time apart from u-21s (which is a joke compared to proper 1st team football that means something). Hope we can develop him and he can make the cut here, and is trusted. We cannot discard him if he has a few questionable games and he will need time and nurturing. He is a leader on the field (from what I have seen) and would be a great captain and player for Chelsea, should he continue to develop and be allowed to do so.

David Villa hardly deserves to be dubbed "trash". He is a quality finisher and would undoubtedly add to our side, I'd love to have him here.

(just seen it was Oscar's assist not piazon He has a real class on the ball and hopefully he gets opportunities here at Chelsea and can develop with his fellow Brazilians:D. I know villa were a shambles and the game was over but you can see Piazon's class from that cameo. He shouldn't feel "guilty" about missing the peno like the commentator said.
