Love his talent, love his personality, love the IDEA of Lavia and what he could’ve been. We would quite comfortably have the best midfield 3 in the league and probably all of Europe if he was able to stay as fit as Caicedo & Enzo and play every match.
But he’s got to go in the summer. If anyone would even take someone with his injury record. We just cannot continue with this “play a game or two and then disappear for months” shit for yet another season.
I truly hope that buzz and rumor about Adam Wharton are accurate and we go big for him next summer. Would be the perfect replacement.

In your eyes, what makes him a "perfectly good" backup player? He has been quite awful in every game he played. Shaky, weak passing, offer nothing offensively, bad tackles. 
 
He is super young, I don't want to write him off, but it's certainly underwhelming what he has done so far, for someone like me who didn't watch him at Ajax I don't see yet what was the hype and price tag about. He cannot even be a starter with Fofana, Badiashile and Colvill unavailable, and doesn't put any stress on Cucurella either. 
For counter example, Gittens definetly hasn't find his best form/position either, but he had some games/periods where we can see he is indeed super talented and got valuable skills. With Hato, I fail to see at this point what he is supposed to be outstanding at and what will make him a starter in the future.

How can you have 3 players on the books and they are barely fit to play 15 games a season (Lavia, Fofana, Badi). 

How anyone expects us to be seriously competitive in the long run with that lanky streak of pish Tosin as one of our starting CBs every week, I don’t know. And last season he was a good signing for some because he was free… muppets.
How are players like Colwill, Hato &, Josh even Fofana meant to learn & kick on if he is the starting CB their looking up to 🤣? 
On a wider note, Maresca has to go we are fucking terrible. We might not even make the next round of the CL at this rate.

He really thought we could just show up here with anybody and stroll to victory.
