Also on ESPN http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1484245/chelsea-agree-deal-cavani---report?cc=5901 Napoli have reportedly accepted a €58million offer for striker Edinson Cavani to join Chelsea, Radio Marte revealed on Monday night. APCavani looks set to move to the Premier League Radio Marte, Napoli's official radio station, made a statement citing a "very reliable source" who confirmed a deal has been struck to send Cavani to Stamford Bridge for €8.5m a seasom

@ChelsTransfer15mVincenzo Morabito, top FIFA agent (1/3): "Cavani is a great player but no-one will pay the €63m release clause, not even Real Madrid" #CFC @ChelsTransfer14m Morabito, FIFA agent (2/3): "English clubs cannot pay the €63m clause, we must take into account FFP. It all depends on De Laurentiis" #CFC @ChelsTransfer11mMorabito, FIFA agent (3/3): "The British could pay €63m in 2/3 years but De Laurentiis always rejected because he wants single payment" #CFC

not a fan of hulk but why when hulk plays for brazil, he does not merit such a high transfer fee yet when cavani plays shit for uruguay he is still worth his 63m clause ?

Manchester United likely to offer Wayne Rooney a new deal to stay • Contract talks with David Moyes due to take place this week • Forward's young family settled in the north-west http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jun/22/manchester-united-wayne-rooney

30m release clause and Arsenal scouts were at the game today watching him, see him ending up there for development before moving to Farca

@ChelsTransfer9m Cattaneo on Cavani: "The race is between Chelsea & Madrid. Player's preferred destination is #RMCF but #CFC are pressing a lot" (Mediaset)
-
havent seen them wrong so far, or may have missed it ... the only questionable thing i saw was on this >>> @TweetChelseaFC account who made up a fake quote about him being presented on June 10th with Jose ,when actually Mediaset didn't report anything of the sort !
-
@ChelsTransfer11m #PSG have made an initial offer of €40m for Zenit midfielder Axel Witsel (L'Equipe) no chance now lol
-
looks like City got him http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/manchester-city-close-to-signing-malaga-midfielder-isco-8658973.html

mikel asking price is 18m GBP.......we can get de rossi for just as much and would be world class
-
enough of young strikers, we have the likes of Lukaku, Feruz, Lalkovic...give them a chance dammit ! rather go for an established striker atm like Cavani/Lewandowski/Gomez
-
always other options out there, could go for Lewandowski, Gomez, Rooney or Dzeko.
-
the same idiots who bought Mata ...then spent 80m got the likes of Oscar, Hazard last summer and so on... easy to say 8m when it's not your money. Torres needs to be sold and there are just no takers willing to pay the required price, once sold we'll get a replacement, not the end of the world if we dont get one target, maybe we could go for Gomez or Dzeko. oh right hes not 50m so must be shit.

Ban pleb
-
first game 1-0 United at home just like last time
-
and fack all to midfield and defending
-
too loyal to Liverlol, cant see it happening.
-
absolutely nothing on London Evening Standard. biggest bullshit ever.
-
De Rossi's wages, Hulk's wages. Cavani's wages ? - 100k, 150k, 150k Cavani - De Laurentis has said only if 63m is met. Torres has to be sold, and even though we'd want to sell, he may pull a Malouda and decide to stay, havent you seen in recent weeks he keeps on talking about staying till the end of his contract because he knows noone else would pay the wages he's currently on anywhere! Essien is a Jose favourite, daddy wont sell him. Marin -2/3m? Kakuta/Bruma? haha doubt theyd fetch much, we arent exactly Porto at selling so we doubt we'd make much there. Malouda, Benayoun, Ferreira, Hilario compared to the wages of the Cavani,Rossi,Hulk ...would cover a fraction. Personally, De Rossi and Hulk we can afford, not all 3 (unless we're giving f**k all about FFP)

Evening Standard saying Chelsea will not give Jose the same funds as in 2004, even Mourinho said its not about spending millions but improving the current team. cant see this at all happening, unless we sell Torres, Mikel/Romeu, maybe even Luiz to fund such a crazy team.
