  1. I've been around long enough to know you react to Chelsea the way a 6 year old reacts to not getting what he/she wanted for Christmas. Let's talk about the game now though, that's what the forum is for and nobody else cares about arguments. Encouraged today that we looked like a team capable of Top Four, which should be our main goal. I think we would have gone and won the thing had Savic been sent off instead of Ivanovic.
  2. Welcome to the age where your love for your club is measured by how much time you spend at a computer screen.
  3. City will win the league this year, we will challenge them for it the year after once everything has settled and the team has gelled properly.
  4. Term X and fans like him are embarrassing to the club and the rest of us. Proud of the boys today, never gave up and showed true Chelsea spirit. Ivanovic's red card never would've happened if Savic would have been rightly punished for his foul on Torres, but games are won and lost on those small margins. Good signs going into Wigan.
  5. I'd be surprised if it was us. Spurs probably.
  6. In fairness, he may have just been fooled. Like you were from the looks of things.
  7. Uruguay won the World Cup in 1930, let's send all our scouts there too.
  8. Replacement for Kalou, who I think he'll be an improvement on. Hopefully he can nab us a few goals this coming season.
  9. I know what you mean, but it's always extra special for me when a player has come through our ranks.
  10. RDM sees Piazon train almost every day, and if he thinks he's ready to play a small role in the first team, then he should give it a go. No point waiting if RDM think he's up to it.
  11. Good messages regarding Sturridge. If he wants to be our main striker, it's time to earn it.
  12. Left-back doesn't seem like a position to worry about for at least another 8-9 years.
  13. Of the options, a few are very unlikely but only Liverpool winning the league is impossible.
  14. If him going means Cavani comes in, then it makes sense to let him go. But otherwise I hope Meireles stays. Ideal squad player.
  15. Wigan is a great shout. He'd probably start most weeks.
  16. I think this is really difficult to accurately predict. None of us really have any idea where the two teams are in terms of fitness right now, and pre-season never really gives away much. And for those of us who remember winning this in 2000, it's more than a glorified friendly - a trophy is a trophy, and while not the biggest one, it's still nice to win.
  17. Torres works hard for the shirt and deserves the respect we should give every Chelsea player. As long as he continues to work hard, I'll support him until the day he is no longer a Chelsea player.
  18. This seems like the kind of post that'll get brought up in February when Cazorla has done little and Arsenal are 6th.
  19. Can't see the club splashing out on anyone, so Falcao and Cavani are out for me. Maybe Lewandowski.
  20. Really? I'd much rather get off to a winning start in the league.
  21. Seems easier in IE. 11.4 PB now.
  22. I can understand the reaction but these kind of idiots are best ignored. Luckily, both sets of fans tend to have a bit more sense that this in general.
  23. He's training today, and while he's not had pre-season, he's played in the Olympics so should be match fit. Can't see why he wouldn't be available, but maybe someone else knows a reason.
