Someone else rooting for Porto today? Real beat Barcelona before we drew them at Camp Nou to progress. Dortmund slashed Bayern before we beat them in Munich, so I think it is better for Benfica to lose their title today in a narrow defeat. And I hope many of their players pick up injuries or get tired.

Was a pleasure to read through that spurs forum page 102-104 http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/the-other-matches-in-the-premier-league-thread.3156/page-102

Can't Eva inject him sth to be fit for the final? the hamstring is a big muscle it won't stop working just because of a little stretch. I used to play American football. I had torn my hamstring in the week before our penultimate game. I was still in the roster as third quarterback (even though I have been wide receiver by trade). It cam as it had to come: both quarterbacks in the squad injured themselves that day.. So a double dose of paracetamol and an injection of Cortison and took over as quarterback in the 3rd down. As I am Wide Receiver I can't throw a ball precisely further than 40 yards, so I decided to run. I actually felt no pain in my leg anymore and made 56 rushing yards. The running back completed a decisive touchdown subsequently. What I wanna tell with that little story is that many injuries esp. hamstring injuries can easily be overcome for decisive games, without risking the player's carrerr or anything like that.

Such a modest, classy man. He is really the guy who should receive knighthood by her majesty, but probably never will cos the Queen is Arsenal supporter. http://www1.skysports.com/football/gallery/12739/8706623/franks-finest-goals here a nice gallery of some of his most important goals. I remember all of them too well. Also amazing feat by Cech to carry a big man like Frank on his shoulders.

LOL. On a day Lamps gets his record, Wigan beat massive favourites Lancaster City to the FA Cup. Really happy for them, they might be relegated but they will play international football next season. This way city can not even come close to emulate our success history in the FA cup in recent years.

They beat us in 2011, but their last defeat in a Charity Shield was to us in 2010, when we won the penalty shoot-out

Champions league for Chelsea, the record for Lamps. On the downside the red card for Ramires (best big game player my ass) and possible injuries to Azpilicueta and Hazard. Lamps, clearest MOTM ever. His first goal was a really special, difficult strike but his amzing finishing did not let him down at all. His second was a great team effort. Also important it was one of very few games where we stood up and turned a big game even though everything was going against us at first. the Benteke goal, the red card, cahill had scored and baker handled it, still ref saw nothing. TBH the red card for benteke was the turning point.

Forget it. This day is really special for me. You won't spoil it.

My neighbours think I am crazy now cos I yelled his name so loud after each goal, but I do not care. Once again written in the stars Lol@ all the haters "He is not Super Frankie any more" "Lamps is shit in big matches" he proved them wrong a fuckin thousanth time. Once again he was there when we needed him the most. Best ever. What a legend.

Best. Midfielder. Ever. Greatest player in Chelsea history. The record is no more than he deserves. One can't honour him enough for all he has done for the club. I am so proud and thankful that i had the privilege to follow him his entire Chelsea carreer. Not only where his goals great but also important. Just like so many times he almost single-handedly turned the game. this time it means Champions League football for us next season. His legacy will outlast his time here by long anyway. Forced his haters to eat their words once again. Frank Lampard. Best ever

who is the king?
-
It was deliberate hand by baker and over the line, so the ref has to award the goal + send baker of
-
now its 10 vs 10, so we can get this on again. also it is villas best player sent off
-
There goes 3rd spot Ramires our best big game player... my ass

add PE Aubameyang to that list. He might be not quite ready but he is such a pace whore. And pace can hurt any opposition.

I don't think we need a classy english player to lead us at all. I'd rather have a foreigner who I can relate to and who actually is Chelsea to lead us than an English mercenary & cunt just for the sake of him being English. Terry & Lamps have been Chelsea's heart and soul because not they are English but because they have been loyal to the club and presented its values. Btw. Lampard is the greatest english player of the past decade. has more goals and assists than Rooney, too.

yup. seems legit.

I bet Rooney won't move anywhere. ManUtd is just the perfect club for him. His looks, his lack of manners, his proletarian charakter just fit in so well in a sinkhole like Manchester and have nothing lost at a club with the style, history or reputation of Chelsea. Bayern are too clever to put a timebomb like Rooney into a squad that is full of capricious divas already. Him+Robben+Ribery would be a frightening attack but their combined antics would wear down any manager. In general for a move abroad, he seems far too lazy. Can you really imagine Rooney learn German or French? Arrange himself in Munich or Paris? Fight an already established hierachy with other egos like Zlatan or the already mentioned Bayern wizards? He always wants to be the biggest baby on the playground. Never got out of that Liverpool-Manchester sinkhole and probably never will. SAF is not there anymore to kick him out like RvN, Stam, Becks or CR7, so Moyes will probably be happy to prolong his outrageously expensive deal another 2 or 3 years. This - I believe - is and has ever been the only objective of Roo's repetitive complaining.

what a trademark Kalou goal
-
i know it was not on purpose, it was kinda joke and mata was more at fault than him. Still s.o. with better body control would not have slipped there...
-
but please stop falling down instead of scoring.
-
Do not play Mazacar for more than 60 minutes. I am quite sure if Lamps would have played yesterday he would have scored, now i am sure he will do so against villa. ------------cech--- Paulo--Cahill-Jt--Bert --------Ake-Romeu-- Oscar---Lamps--Marin ------------Ba-----------

not even then. We should have secured 2 titles and top 3 long before. If he wins Europa league, it will be an ok stint but nothing more. Judging what we have achieved until now, his stint has been a almost a disaster.

The most Torres-esque about his assist was that it was a misplaced pass for Oscar. He had not seen Ramires.

it is not their fault that refs are completely clueless these days. We have only ourselves to blame. not even rafa or the refs would have cost us the game if we simply had converted one of these two 100% chances
