He is strong, can run, pick a pass and has a ferocious shot. He is really balanced and has no significant weaknesses. But, yeah he is not really any better than Ramires. He would be a decent option for depth, but we need a strong, creative pass master next to Rami to balance their attributes completely. But for a decent price I would not say no.

We tried him as striker vs ManU and it did not go too well. I think he has all the tools to be a fairly prolific striker, cos he works hard, is direct, is not afraid to shoot. This player comes in so refreshingly old fashioned between all those wanna-be playmakers. Still Mou played him as no 10 in the first half??? He is best on the left wing where he can use his pace and his shooting. he would need time to adapt to lead the line, even though he has the tools. Maybe worth a shot in the next to games vs relatively easy opponents, but should not be a permament solution. Let Ba have a few games, IMO he has done decent so far.

Just rewatched the game. We could ahve easily been 3-0 up before Stoke even came near our goal, but our finishing has been wasteful. So much for "Ramires being best finisher in the team". Lamps would have easily scored twice from the opportunities Ramires had in the first half.

I would not mind this guy, but honestly, given our depth in that department that would only be possible when 3 of our attacking mids leave before. Maybe Moses, Mata, Marin and KDB all leave next summer, Piazon turns into a striker and Schürrle has a career-ending injury, Atsu does not cut it, then it would be an option to buy him, but we are so fuckin stucked with AMs, it is not even funny, atm we got: Hazard, oscar, mata, Willian, Schürrle, KDB, Moses, Marin, Atsu, Piazon and Kakuta in our meta-squad. These are 11 players with Lampard, Ramires, Azpilicueta and Bertrand also capable of occupiying one of those AM positions respectively. Even if we lose 5 AMs in one transfer window, we still would have immense depth. btw IMO Atsu is almost the exact same player, less gifted of course, but it is not that Salah is a world beater, he has pace which made our defence look ridiculous at times and he can finish, but that is only since summer.

I am pretty sure they will travel today not only on Wednesday. On paper this is one of the more straightforward fixtures. The way we passed that Southampton test really makes me hope that we can string some results together this winter. As we all know titles are decided in Winter every other season. Again, this is only 2 full days of rest, but this is the EPL, not some certain pussy league.

Mou's ability to influence a running match with subs and tacitical instructions is second to none.

Lost some 200lbs during his journey over the Narrow Sea Mou's subs esp Lamps and Ba were brilliant, really stabilized our game. Essien probably should not start such a big game no matter what This plan b with 442 and pumping balls forward was amazing. This should also work against Arsenal.

Our "back-to-the-Stone-Age" tactics went brilliantly. That type of football fitted Torres, Ramires and Ba exceptionally well
