  1. Yaya is only 1,88m which is not too tall, still he often looks fuckin clumsy, even though he bosses it. Has nothing to do with what they actually do with the ball, but most tall men look clumsy playing football.
  2. Shit. We don't really have clear cut chances. This does not look like we will still win this.
  3. But he is. Tall often look a bit clumsy
  4. wham block if their lives depended on it
  5. Ivanovic does not really cross better with his left.
  6. WHam seem to ahve 15 players or so on the pitch. all the team is in their box
  7. Bring on Lamps. He knows how to score vs WHam. He will be the 2nd man in the box. Eto'o ist just not enough
  8. city just won it at spurs. how could those shits take 2 points off us?
  9. the only positive from this eve so far is City only leading by one
  10. Azpilicueta absolute LB legend. I don't get how Mou prefers a right foot at LB when we got now width whatsoever on that flank anyway, whilst on the other flank we got practically no width, cos Iva can't cross. Stil he has to play, taking away Azpilicueta, our only full-back who actually is able to cross the option to do it.
  11. This guy is an absolute league one legend. We sign so many young players eventually, there have to be some who actually have the potential to become as good. But they either are never given a chance like Matic, don't want it cos they know they will be shed out like Stoch or actually break into the team, become starters but then are cast out to accomodate some big buys. I fear Bamford will be one of those. He obviously knows where the goal stands and also works very hard, but being a striker at Chelsea seems to be the hardest job in football right now. Torres, Sturridge, Ba, Eto'o, Pizarro all vastly talented strikers, successful everywhere else they played just could not cut it here. You somehow need the all-round package like Drogba, but also the Drog was given years before he really blossomed. So if most strikers are bound to fail here, why not fuckin play the ones we got instead of buying those fails. Lukaku, Bamford, Feruz - a strikeforce that will hardly strike fear into opponents but they surely will not do much worse than our current one. Most importantly they are our players. Eto'o, Torres, Ba might play for us and it is probably not their fault, but they just don't feel Chelsea players. They were bought because we thought they could perform for us now based on the players they are. Feruz, Lukaku, Bamford were bought because some people at the club believed they could perform for us someday based on what was seen in them. A player bought for the moment usually just performs to repays the money invested in him, but a youth player also wants to repay the trust. Even though this principle is often undermined, it creates a sense of belonging that is much stronger than with already grown players. This is why I believe our youth players should be given much more chances, even if they might not be good enough yet.
  12. The next 2 matchdays could be crucial. Two wins and we would be massive title favourites in the run in. A draw at City would also be a great result, but at first we have to win at home vs West Ham. I see Jose going with a 4-3-3 like in the away game again. I hope Oscar&Hazard get a rest pre City. A good old fashioned -----------Cech-------- Azpi--Cahill---JT--Cole ------------Matic---------- -------Rami----Lamps--- Willian----Ba------Schürrle would be amazing to see, just like in the good old times. Pacy wingers (Robben-Duff now Schürrle-Willian), big, aerial striker (DrogBA) and a runner (Ess-Ramires), a strategist (Makelele-Matic) and a goalscorer (The one and only Frank Lampard) in midfield. Maaan this would be awesome one last time playing such a classy formation. Might also enhance our chances of overpowering WHU in midfield like last time + resting our two most important players ins offence. What a squad we got, we literally rest 4 or 5 starters but still could field the 2nd best starting XI in the league without even exhausting our options.
  13. Utd vs us on the transfer market is not even a contest. If we want Shaw we will get him, I am confident of that. But we are not in a position where we have to pay 30m for a 18 year old, no matter how talented. Utd are the desperate ones.
  14. Costa is good but not worth sacrificing a top 5 goalie. Only if there is no possibility of keeping Courtois long term this would make sense.
  15. Ever since he arrived, I was reluctant to get that enthusiastic about Mata becoming the new King of Stamford Bridge carrying the team with his goals and assists from midfield. Not because I did not acknowledge his talent or did not like him here. In fact, he is such a class act, I have seldom seen a player fit the club's elegant, educated middle-class image more than him. Many had already seen him becoming a majory player in our history in the way he took the fans' hearts by storm with his icredibly slick, elegant performances, his great attitude and his humble personality. But he is almost too classy to be a footballer in these days, were media, Fifa, UEFA and the mainstream-chavs completely distort the image of the sport. His game is all skill which made it ahrder for him to really fit in in teams not built for him. Those include Chelsea under Mourinho but also Spain. still he is talented enough to perform. I don't know if it ManU is the right spot for him, but I understand it wasn't Chelsea any more. Neither he nor Mou nor the club is guilty, it just didn't work out and it never would have. As we got Mou in, it has always been clear in what direction we are heading. With Utd it is less clear, which is it might actually not that grave a mistake passing Mata on. A rival is not the ideal buyer, but Utd will need time to get to our level again and they would do so with or without Mata. This way we at least get the bigges tpossitble amout of cash out of it.
  16. Well, at least we already know whether we win this competition or not in the next round.
  17. fuck it we just got an away draw to Man city in the FA cup
  18. Just found out today is not only Jose's birthday but also my namesday
  19. uff. this was awkward. happy Birthday Mou. When 1-0 is his favourite victory, it is his kind of birthday present
  20. Oscar is Budweiser MOTM. Wonder whether u get a pint of Budweiser instead of a bottle of champaigne then.
