  1. they got a good squad. it is their mentality that is flawed. tbf today, kompany, mangala and kdb where injured.
  2. HOly crap leicester are amazing. How could we lose 3-0 at these City mugs? they are totally toothless in offence and sloppy in defense. Huth's title winning experience is crucial here haha. He, Vardy and Mahrez with his incredible golazo have been immense all game. Also Kante with his bit erratic but so energetic performance. Okazaki however is a horrible player.
  3. goal of the season by the player of the season. fitting. Honestly, i think it is set in stone now that Leicester will finish in the CL places. When they take at least 2 points from Arsenal and City matches, I might eventually also back them for the title.
  4. this game is a mere slapstick orgy. how we are not 6goals up is beyond me. Dons are absolutely poor defensively. Only our finishing is worse
  5. Lolz at Emenalo's jacket. Does he seriously wear a hoody to work? Who does he think he is, a retired jazz bassist? I know its casual friday but wtf. Patos outfit however is classy AF and he looks genuinely delighted to be here. Other than that you can't be more superficial than the people behind this signing really.
  6. Even better: Ramires was 25m pounds which is 33m euros. I am not sure about the Remy and KDB numbers but you are right it definitely adds up. we could get 1-2 world class players for that amount in summer if it is indeed free cashflow.
  7. kind a striker dilemma for this one. Remy can't start as he will join Leicester and is injured(wtf?), Bamford to NOrwich, Costa picked up a knock and should not be risked, Falcao is probably not even fit and Pato is not even registered let alone having adjusted his biorhythm to the new timezone. So I guess there is actually a chance Bertrand Traore might start this one in his preferred position but I would not put hang my hopes too high. Given what we have witnessed this season I''d even guess Guus start a falso nine or wear out Costa even more. But I trust Traore that he will link up well and create some danger with his movement. The defences he cut through during his stint in HOlland surely were not much worse than Dons. what i would like to see is Bego Aina GC Zouma Baba Matic RLC Pedro Oscar Kenedy Traore should still be strong enough to see them off.
  8. 25m £s is like 33m euro more than double his worth. Crazy what he will earn there. Best of luck thanks for all the memories and some great goals. Not gonna talk about negatives. His pace, stamina, heart and collection of text book finishes and brilliant solo runs in spite of his limited technical ability will always be cherished fondly.
  9. Well those would be the last attributes to describe Günni. He is quick despite not as fast as before his injury, definitely robust and solid stamina. Definitely a good deal ahead of fabregas. Also he is much more combative than any of our midfielders so would add much needed tenacity. Not sure if posted before but look a this cameo vs Poland. Really put the team back on fire. Look at his sprint in the last scene? Not that slow I guess
  10. Credit where it is due. Classy performance. Even though he did nothing eye-catching he controlled the midfield which is vital vs arsenal. How many teams rush it when in possession at the Emirates and never get out of their own box? Also his close control has improved a bit. Remember that scene when he was harassed by the much faster Joel Campbell but with his quick turns and intricate touches he put the Costa Rican on his ass with a nice ankle breaker. Also his run stopped by the the koscielny handball was clever even though he should have rather passed. I am usually his harshest critic but you can't deny the influence he has on the team esp in the absence of hazard.
  11. Does make a lot of sense. He wants money and we can pay higher wages than Juve and Barca. Also if you are a Chelsea fan why do you want him to stay at bvb when our midfield cries for a player of his quality?
  12. Arsenal fans and channel are comedy gold. Giroud the" best striker in the premiership"? Last year he only was "a useless lamppost, the average striker you get when only spending 10 m". Let's hope they never realise this channel is more entertaining for non arse fans than for gooners. That guys right about the red tho. As soon as merte attempts the vain challenge, there is no way Costa can continue his run whether he makes contact, dives or does a backflip from there.
  13. Arsenal tend to forget that last time Guus was around for this fixture we thumped them 4-1 at the Emirates
  14. well, even a blind blind hen finds a grain of corn at times... they often call Bayern news before everyone else does because they are something like Bayer's court drudge paper. But as for every other topic apart from FC Bayern München, Bild is held as synonym of low quality journalism whose target audience are the illiterate. They are exactly like the Sun just with uglier topless girls.
  15. Lolz don't ever use the word 'reliable' to describe the Bild. The rumour is plausible but that is probably why they made it up
  16. Would be a horrible signing for that kind of money even though a decent no.2
  17. After his meteoric rise in Nürnberg and Dortmund he has somewhat stagnated or even regressed a bit physicallly since 2012. Esp his pace and stamina have gone downhill with his injuries. Apart from that he is still a very good all rounder, good balance, agility, ball control, dribbling, decent strength, the epitome of the modern box-to-box midfielder, like a deluxe version of Axel Witsel. Surely better than above average more like good to very good. No one to decide games but to make your midfield click. Surely better than Mikel\ramires. BTW the reason he stayed at Dortmund was that no one, not even utd gave in to his exorbitant wage demands. And he will stay at Dortmund as long as someone does. I leave it to you if he is the player our midfield needs.
  18. me 2. I thought we had come off the better when we lost out on Douglas Costa but managed to snatch Pedro a proven winner but I couldn't have been more wrong. It is shocking how much time he needs to adapt. You can see he always has good ideas but either his touch lets him down, he lacks accuracy or simply the physical attributes like pace to be a winger. Seems to be a top guy though, very professinal, always smiling so I really hope he makes it.
  19. well we got not even enough players on loan but our loan system is not the cause of us not integrating youth players anyway rather partly consequence of us not trusting young players.
  20. would love to see RLC start now, really deserves to start over Oscar or Ramires Tibo Azpi JT Zoum Baba ofc we all know which fullbacks will play eventually but one can dream Mikel/Matic with Mikel's recent resurgence and Matic's declien I am actually indifferent between the two of them RLC Fabreagas RL Fucking C has to start after that performance no two minds about it Willian Kenedy Kenedy spread more danger in his cameo than Pedro and Oscar did combined the rest of the game Diego goes without saying should be a solid and at the same time creative enough lineup to take on almost any EPL side.
  21. great goal from him difficult finish. He jumped with his left foot intending to hit the ball with his right but when the defender unbalanced him, he readjusted his body shape in mid air to hit it with his left. This kind of impro finishes can't be rehearsed, they just show who is a natural finisher and Costa certainly is.
  22. true but tbf he was excellent today on both ends.
  23. unconvincing performance but deserved win. The headlines belong to Ruben who offered more than Oscar and Pedro combined.
  24. when that shot by RLC went in I really felt something that I have not felt since Lampard scored for us. Like something big is in the making of our midfield.
  25. whilst the gif made me chuckle a bit, you can not be serious. People get banned for bullying, insulting other members not for writing brilliant substantiated posts displaying an unpopular opinion. Even though I do not agree with him either(, esp. 65m are not even remotedly close to what we should get for Hazard), @BlueLion put in a lot of effort to expound his chain of reasoning which is why I greatly enjoyed his post. This is what a forum is there for, to exchange and discuss opinions. We get that a lot in recent times that someone expresses his opinion and others demand him to get punished just for doing so. IMO that is not only childish but the philosophy behind banning people for their opinions hence abolishing freedom of speech is called fascism. I am not accusing you of being fascist as you probably did not intend to do any harm but I take this as an inducement cos this is a frequent pattern: someone has an opinion, takes his time to think it through and elucidate it here and the reaction he gets are some childish, personal one liners. This is what poisons the atmosphere in a forum and I have been on numerous so forums who went downhill from there. So I just want to remind members to take a step back and use your brains when assessing an opinion that is not yours and to @BlueLion, thanks for your amazing post.
