Spot on. Not a top top player but an inportant enough piece of our play that failing to lace him appropriately can break our whole season

Lozano was scary good vs Us in the WC. Amazing counter attacking player. No idea if he is cut out for satriball tho

AC, Rüdiger and Luiz are all at least as comfortable on the ball as Rugani . One misplaced pass by AC does not change that. People make Rugani as if he was the second coming of Xavi. From what i have seen he is solid on the ball but mothing special. Like most of our cbs he can pinpoint long passes under no pressure but hoofs the ball out or passes bacj tonthe goalie when under pressure. About Average ability on the ball for a modern cb IMO.

Or even better No One Anywhere FC 0m because we have more than enough cbs already

Age is the only downside is a good one. In most sports Youth is the most inportant asset so it should determine which kind of player we are spending almost a club record fee on.

I dont know about the quality of the cs but for mounts particular style of play Lamps is the best coach there is so makes sense imo

Hazard leaving could cause a chain reaction so better tie down Kante to another 5 year deal already

At 80m we should pull out. He is a GK FFS and he is barely more than flavour of the month. when we can get a goalie who is maybe 10% worse but costs 80% less then it is a good deal and of those goalies there are plenty.

Butland and Forster would be decent options and not too expensive. No probs with that

Why not skip the moddle men and go for areola outselves? He has been amazing and costs the fraction of what Alisson costs.

Would be sad to see him leave. Not exactly a legend of the club but put in some great performances when it mattered most esp in the cl final 2012, the el final 2013, the whole 2014/15 season he was flawless. Then again in our recent fa cup final he was absolutely sublime in the mid cb position. But i guess he is bow too Immobile to play Sarrid high line in a 4 man defence so I understand if he night wnat to go and play first team football.

He is also equally ineffective in front of goal as Willian but also a scorer of great goals.

Yes please. Bailey in and Alisson or some other decent goalkeeper in for Courtois but no more departures and we are set for the season without throwing the squad in disarray.

I dont quite understand we we seem to be in the hunt for players in positions we are more than set. I do not expect any of our current CBs to leave so even counting Azpi as a right back we got Cahill, Luiz, Christensen, Rüdiger and zouma who did excellent at Stoke. Then we have miazga,kalas, omeruo and hecotr coming back even though none of them are gonna make it here. we have 5 good to very good CBs for 2 position in Sarri's system. even luiz and cahill are 31 and 32 respectively barely an age for cbs. esp since I expect Rüdiger and Christensen to play most of the games next season and I do not see how Rugani is better than either. Like the Higuain signing makes no sense and i hope we are not paying that much for a player we do not need.

I also do ot understand why we are not after wingers. By numbers thats the only position we are not set. But imo neither striker has the desired quality

I agree there are not too many quality options out there but Icardi is one. I wonder if 80 to 90m would be enough
