I think what they mean is that his overall passing game is not solid but his key passes are. It is still weird bc this implies a) that he in general has the technical ability to complete reguöar passes as he does woth key passes and b ) that his key passes have such high completion rate that the reason for his weak regular passing can not be that he tries and fails key passes too often. Anyway both is wrong. His overall passing game is quite decent

Are they tho? Cahill has been exposed playing back 3 time and time again whilst Bertrand is an excellent wing back. If I were Southgate I would not play a back 3 at all. England have mediocrity in depth in mdifield and defense. No need to emphasize that. IMO they should cater around their best attackers Kane and Sterling and support them with midfielders who can play through teh lines. Wich is why i am amazed Wilshere is not in the squad. They have only 4 central mids and 4 centre backs in the squad. But 4 central strikers when they are most likely only play. Just from the mathematics teh only way this makes sense is if they play their outdated 442. Selecting players like Delph and Young who were too bad to play their main position as cms and now are full-back shoe-ins about real full backs and real centre backs is completely beyond me. There must be something going on behind the scenes. Well thank god Southgate selected 3 right back, so at least they are covered if Belgium decides to play KDB, Mertens and Hazard all on the left wing at the same time

Also Emerson and Cahill might have been much better selections given without them we pose no aerial threat or penetration from the left. what is a bit baffling is that both, jorginho and seri are already at the age Cesc was when he joined us. They are also of similarly fragile built. That beign said, I doubt they have so many km in their legs as Cesc so maybe it is not the same. But I understand the desire for signing proven quality at the best age over expensive experiments like Bakayoko.

No that was not that bad. players were not feigning injuries all the time and we scored two legit goals, not one only because the ref was corrupted.

Yeah not bad considering he is only 19. I think no other of our loanees has performed that well at that age. Really such a shame that he will never establish himself here because of our incompetent board especially because he has always been at chelsea, joining the club aged 5. If huddersfield has achieved this with fair means then fair play. but exploiting that corrupted ref's disgraceful behaviour with how they feighned injuries and wasted time at every opportunity was just shocking and undeserving of premeir league team. never ever not even a mourinho team has ever played so dirty.

I think the lineup was too weak from the very beginning. Pedro and willian have always been shit creating against stacked defences. hazard should have started no matter the fucking cup final. but tbh we never stood a chance getting 4th. pool and spurs will be brought home by the refs and the media anyway.
