That amount is only true if you win every single match in the competiton. For teams like us that most likely exit in the round of 16 it will be more like 25-40m depending on money from TV and ads. I think this CL money thing is a bit blown out of proportion, so I doubt it plays sucha majorrole. With FFP being loosened for a season i think we can afford him anyway. Zouma+Rüdiger and Zouma+Tomori have been our most "solid" combos. And we badly need his aerial threat. Watford are a tall side again. Only two of their starters are shorter than 6ft. Even their leftback; mesina, is 191cm

But Christensen+Zouma is a disaster even though Zouma gives us better presence at set pieces

I would say not special but smarter than Alonso. He is more of a combative type who commits to. challenges early and is forceful and tenacious in that. More English than Italian in his style you could say but usually does not commit stupid fouls like Alonso. Overall he is a pretty smart lad so I am sure he can learn.

He had a bad day vs Lazio defensively but overall he is a grinder also at the back. He is obviously more of a wingback. I think you could say he is basically a fast, more physical Alonso with better crossing. The problem is there are very few lbs who are good on both ends. The only ones who are remotely close to that are Hernandez and Sandro

We usually have the problems from set pieces where liverpool have only one dangerous player and are in general even shorter than we or when we are spread by committing to many players forward and are hit on the break or similar. I think we will be clever enough to not allow that. As soon as we can defend in numbers with a lower block we will be fine.
