You really think Maatsen has what it takes? i dont really see it yet even though he still is super young so might have huge upside still. i think if we want to win something this season or even make top 4 we need to be safe and at least get a backup goalie unless Cech really still got it. But for next season where there is an AFCON and we need to win stuff, we 100% need a PL-class backup goalie and LB.

But Zouma looks an inch or two taller than Rüdiger, who i have personally met and i think is the full 1,90m he is listed, on this pic too. So maybe, Zouma himself is taller than 1,90 and Mendy is about accurate? Player heights are often off but i have seldom seen one listed too low, albeit there are a few cases in the squad that are definitely wrong.

Is it just me or did he actually look better as a no. 8 than as a no.10 so far. When he dropsback and controls the tempo of the play he is just as comfortable on the ball as jorginho. I would still like him to shoot more often and go into the dribbling but i guess it will come.quiet but decent game from him
