another thing. how exciting is hazard and mata combination? ill be honest, i thought it was going to be a drogba torres situation with those two. im so happy! when they are both on the pitch, our attacking looks a lot more pormising with good build up. and they would do so much better as well if they didnt have to rely on this awful defensive mentallity of RDM. RMD must change his mentality and use more of our wide range of attacking players. we can be so much better. our defence isnt as bad as people say, its jst a bit inconsistent. plus if RDM was more attacking ,we wouldnt have to worry about letting in a couple of goals because we'd have scored 5 or 6

Oscar looked brilliant. and he did well keeping pirlo out the game. really hope we see him starting a few more games now. stick mata on the right and Hazard on the left (if we have to paly the horrible 4-2-3-1). Ramires RW again... Mikel.... hes a tough one. i see mikel as someone i perosnally under rate. yes he made a mistake today, but otherwise hes pretty solid. ya there are better players than him, but at this club, i think hes best at that position. Lampard... again, looked the same as the past few games... need to slap rami/oriol there. or essien. i personally love essien there, great defensive mind. Im not upset with a point, its ok. but we could and should have taken all 3. but id now say a draw is minimal on the away game to them. i would like to see Cahill play a few more games. for either terry or luiz. Torres: i dont know what to say. i like him. i think his movement is good (lost a lot of pace recently) hes heavily marked out, and rarely gets the support. the counter attack doesnt work for him. and i feel his frustration. i honestly think any striker would struggle in that position at this club at the moment. I also think clubs no that torres gets easily frustrated so they mark him out. Using sturridge i think defenders will not see him as big a threat, and along with his energy and pace, would cause some immense problems for the opposition. this counter attack football is rubbish and i hate it. RDM needs to grow some balls and show a bit of faith in the team. his mentality is like what youd see from a newly promoted team. its too defensive! I can understand, it worked at the end of last season in the champions league, but we reliedo na lot of luck as well. Bertrand coming on for rami as well. wtf! our options in attack are insane and dangerous, he needs to use them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annoyed that its the same formation. earlier some guy showed a lovely looking 4-3-3 line up that would have been lovely to see. Good to see Oscar getting a start. Not sure why RDM chose this game though. Maybe Mata not 100% fit? And hopefully there's a good reason sturridge hast even made the bench

Your strangest celebration to a Chelsea goal?
dumps replied to Tomo's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I never normally have a weird celebration. I often react badly to conceeding a goal, or to seeing a top team steal unfair points (Man utd/man city v Southampton this season) which normally leads ot me phoning/texting a supporter of that team in pure rage and puts me in a foul mood. the 1 celebration that can be considered weird was Drogba's winning pen vs munich. i didnt react. no smile. no cheer. i was in bed, and i just went from sitting up to laying down and watched the celebrations. that is fairly weird. -
Just edited out my last post because the link only translated part of the article and it was also still hard to read! i would love to see if someone could get a decent translation for it looks like a good read!

I forget it myself, but this name acutally came through ass and poo related stories! unbelievable. that was a long time ago. I am not as extreme with my ass these days. thats a complete lie. Im an awful awful man
-
ya i get quite friendly with it. nothing deep. but i like to be clean. word of warning. do not use cheap toilet roll, especially after a poo that could easily be mistaken as the recreation of an atomic bomb going off. the constant wiping whilst being too friendly with the bum hole will lead to blood to be draw. and its blood drawn from a friction burn due to the violent wiping. and that shit takes ages to heal. my question in return: do you try to speperate your bum cheeks using the rim of the seat??? so like lean to one side, spread one cheek, then plant the other so its spread without any use of hands?

The Problem in Chelsea 4-2-3-1 Formation

Using Frank as a sub/weaker team start in AMC would be brilliant. the only problem is the queue for that position at the moment. he can still play that position, is off the ball movement is fantastic, he has never had or needed the pace. stick him at AMC every now and then and use him as sub for the double pivot when needed. we love Frank, nobody here should question anyones faith towards him, but some of us clearly just dont see him fitting in with this current system RDM employs. I would rather see Frank start a few games and come on as a sub every now and then in AMC and shine than see him slowly suffocate in that DM role that he just isnt comfortable with.
-
great news. and i look forward to see how it goes. Hopefully it'll be more as a striker, becuase he rarely gets time there, hopefully he plays, and if he plays well RDM keeps him there. i wouldnt complain if he were to appear on a wing, but i do hope he gets some game time in his favoured position. and then HOPEFULLY he signs a new deal. would be a huge loss to lose him on a free. it is very exciting with the players we have available, we just need RDM to rotate the players a bit (and possibly the system) to give them all a chance and to find our real true best 11.

The Problem in Chelsea 4-2-3-1 Formation
dumps replied to ╫rue Blue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
not sure I understand what you mean. I agree that Rami and Bertrand shouldnt be playing in those positions (which is what i think you are saying) i was just saying to the other guy that i think they are doing exactly what RDM expects/wants of them - which is stupid. and by having Romeu with mikel in the double pivot, the 3 attacking midfielders will have greater freedom. Rami would be good next to Mikel as well (could possibly play a bit like Frank in terms of off the ball movements, however). -

I personally think Oriol would be dynamite in that position. I also think that Ryan and Rami are doing exactly as they are told/is expected of RDM, they just arent comfrotable doing hwats asked of them which is why they arent "playing well" -

So ultimately, we would see asignificant imrpovement in possession and performance by replacing lmapard with someone like Romeu? he wont venture forward. problem solved. quick change of personal to someone who will do what RDM wants? Surely if RDM didnt want lampard to drift up field he would tell him to? and then proceed to subbing him off if he kept going out of position? those are both things RDM hasnt done, so RDM wants lampard to push up... He obviously has some sort of tactic that we just aren't seeing!? -
a lot of time for that. A LOT of time. My only concern is i dont think Hazard and Mata would be that effective as RW and LW. They both seem to play best when one is playing behind the striker and one is on a wing and then they mix and match when they want. they seem to be the most effective when they are allowed to do that. sticking them both permantly on a wing i dont think will be entirely effective, and i think if they were put in that position we would see them naturally drifting to the middle more often than they should which would make us very narrow. but like you said, bringing Moses on as a sub would be so useful there if it appeared to not entirely working. could even stick Sturrdige or Marin on the wing as well.
-
With reports of Juve's slow defense, Sturridge And Moses sounds very appealing to me! I think RDM should be sacked and his wage should be split between 500 of us and we can run this club ourselves!
-
The clock is ticking on RDM to actually use these new signings properly. Like many have said, Oscar is a starting player for his national team, and it's not just any old national team, it's Brazil... he SHOULD be starting games for Chelsea, he's more than ready. We all know RDM is going to line up an unltra defensive team, I can see him deploying the exact tactics that got us through Barca and Munich... He has to understand those are tactics that rely heavily on luck! I can understand if he starts Bertrand/Ramires on the wings, for their defensive attributes, but he doesnt have to be so defensive. I agree with the majority when they say about Lampard in that double pivot, and we all know he'll start their again. Hopefully itll be his last start there because i cant see us winning this game (or deservedly winning) with lampard there, and bertrand/Ramires on a wing. Hopefully the return of Mata will remove one of those defensive wingers. i would love to see a change of formation in this game, it would shock Juve, and as Juve play WB's, it could be very effective, the middle of the pitch is going to be a very busy place, and im not sure Lampard is going to be able to cope with those defensive duties. another poor performance or a loss should hopefully be a slap round RDM's face to change his style of play and throw on some of those attacking midfielders we bought, Sturrdige needs more game time. at the moment i Still prefer Torres over Sturridge. but Sturridge needs to be seen more, and be used earlier than the 85th minute! this could be a long game for us. Having said that, It's a chmpions league match. They always tend to bring out the best in players (as long as we dont concede in the first 10minutes!) and maybe then RDM's tactics might be effective with all the players giving him 100% - of course, if we do win with these tactics, prepare to see them for a bit longer! time will tell. Huge game for the future of our season.
-
he played the entire secondh alf yesterday, anyone know how he got on? i know Brom were down to 10 men, so he probably didn't see much of the ball, but would be nice to know how he reacted to playing as a 10 man team...
-
Genuinely a tough game and a real test for RDM with this new team. Will be very interested to see the starting 11.... huge game!
-
you are very right. But sturridge can't run through walls. but i see what you are saying. I wasn't exactly excited when we bought Moses because i didn't see what use he could have. the last couple of games Chelsea have had has showed me exactly why we have bought him, for his presence. He's quick, he has determination, he keeps the ball and the only reason i can think of that he didnt start, is because he is still settling in. but he HAS to start the game against Stoke, thats hte kind of team he is built to play against. Sturridge needs to play more as well for exactly the reaon you stated. i would even be satisfied seeing Sturridge on RW and Moses on LW. having them both on the pitch would be attack attack attack. Moses is ok in terms of defense as well. he does get back, so im hoping he is going to be put ahead of Ramires for that RW spot.
-
ya that would be my reasoning for the word "weird" then. i should clarify i was watching the game on my phone and the connection kept going. i'd also say it was a little awakward becuase nobody really looked that comfortable, but surely its practiced in training. another point is that i dont actually think it was neccesary for us to go 4-3-3. the 4-2-3-1 may not have got us goals, but it was going ok. and we may have had a few goals if some players put some effort in. Sturridge should have come on a lot earlier. Torres was not up for it at all today. Ramires, as we all say, is just not doing RW any good. and it's not his fault, i can understand playing Ramires/Bertrand on the wings during games where we need the extra defense, but this game should have been an attacking display form us, and we were just not set up that way. HOPEFULLY this game will lead to RDM doing a bit of rotation and giving other players a chance. so although this was a bad game, hopefully it leads to some good thigns in the future!
-
Am i right in thinking we went to a weird 4-3-3 at the end with hazard at lw? I can understand why, but I don't think it was needed. Moses should have just been a straight swap for bertrand. We were doing ok with the formation, it was the lack of energy that let us down. The only player trying was hazard. RDM needs to mix things up, and not wait till the 75th minute of a match to do it. I honestly think it was the lack of effort from certain players that cost us that...
-
it's not that bad people! it is a really boring game though. and yes, Moses/Sturridge would 100% improve this game, but i can see a goal coming for us soon. Ramires should probably be taken off ASAP just because his yellow card...
-
i Can understand Bertrand when we need that extra defensive cover... but i really dont think we need that today. (maybe against Juventus) so i saw it as a good time to give Moses a game...
-
as mentioned, the most annoying part of this is the whole Ramires on the wing situation... which means it'll take a string of games of poor performances before he's dropped, which will ultimately mean he's dropped entirely and not even played at CM. Luiz in midfield is interesting adn something we have all thought about, but i'll wait till i see it till I decide wether its good or bad! The Formation thing is fine, but i hope if it starts to fail that we do see a change to maybe a 4-3-3. very interesting though, is there an article on this or a video somewhere? I would be interested in seeing/reading the whole thing.
