I think we all expected a Top 4 finish, problem is - confidence breeds success - if we hit a bad run, we could drop out of the top 4... That would be unthinkable, especially if we need to attract players in the summer.

Its NOT hate - it's frustration... Torres starting AGAIN was just stupid - it's like playing with 10 men - go ask Spurs how that worked out at Arsenal... We could also have given Marin some minutes - so we'd know how he copes in the Premiership - and could then be used as a Super Sub when we need him, but again another chance wasted. So it's the lack of Rotation (as discussed in the rotation, rotation, rotation thread) that is making people frustrated. There were some positives - Our midfield trio linked up with Studge amazingly - so have real confidence when he finds form he will score and any other striker coming in will have lots of opportunities

Yup we need to stop that - as much as I dislike him SAF can get UTD sorted - WE need a Manager to do that. It's there for RDM to step-up and do it - just hope he can....

Yeah frustrated Marin had NO game time!!! RDM needs to sort that shit out - in Pre-Season MARIN was fucking AWESOME! Yes he had injury, but he's played RESERVE games, give him a fucking chance - he's the kind of player that can nick a goal during a game... We have good players - but don't rotate them enough, then when they are needed they are out of form... For me that's a big tactical failing.... I know I said PEP earlier, but DO WANT RDM to succeed - he just needs to DO MORE during a game and in Squad Management...

I think it's just frustration m8 - I went MENTAL in public earlier I'm REALLY encouraged though with HOW a Striker links up to MATA + OSCAR and HAZARD - if we had a REAL striker we would be top of the league... After Danny's goals last season, I know he can do better - my firm belief (like YouNameIt) is he just needs a run of games... Our defence needs serious work - IVA + TERRY or IVA + Cahil for CB - Luiz has to be transitioned into a DM - but again, he's quite lazy and never really works hard enough to get back... often seen jogging back... Dunno - think RDM just needs to get TOUGH on the players and Torres needs to be benched for 4-5 games...

Agree with you - I think our good start papered over the cracks... I dont blame Mikel or Hazard though - I actually think Mikel is having his best season, but when Ramires isn't there next to him, we look exposed. Either Mikel or Romeu should have stuck on Morrison - that old Man to Man marking, he is WBA creative spark... I think most people thought we need a striker We do actually have a decent squad if we recalled our 1 million loan players

Ok firstly apologies to YouNameIt and HNKS and anybody else I offended. I had just watched Arsenal destroy a 10 man Spurs - and I really hoped we would play with 11 men. Then I saw Torres had started and that made me mad... Then we conceded early on from a cross that made me even more MAD... So - my points: 1) What are we practicing in training on crosses? Why can we suddenly NOT defend them? 2) Yes Sturridge should have scored, but at least he looked like a striker - maybe not a finisher, granted - but his movement for MATA and OSCAR was amazing. Unfortunately for us - it takes him a few games to get his 'eye in' - a bit like Andy Cole... 3) We really need to bench Torres - the team flowed much better without him and with a 'finisher' we could have WON that game So really hope RDM & EN sort out (1) + (3) and I'm confident Studge can fix (2) - BUT we still need a striker!!!

It was a lack of composure... Honestly, give him games... Last season he was awesome after a run of 10+ games... Same at Bolton... He's a player that just needs games, not like Hernandez @ Utd.... Problem is, he should have had more games up until this point, so now unfair pressure on him... !!!
