LOL - I think we have a good chance of getting something out of the game, especially if we can nick an early goal and keep the pressure on... City seem to concede easily, but then other teams never finish them off... e.g. Real Madrid... Then they get some belief back and end up scoring... Time to expose their lack of chemistry this season and get Rambo to mark SILVA out of the game! I think RB will definitely have man-to-man on SILVA and Aguero - like he did in the old days with Sammi Hyypia (sp?)... Always tight on his man...

@rmpr - There's DEFINITELY rumours of Torres wanting out to Atletico (but that was prior to El Spanio joining, so who knows ) - but I'd prefer to have 3 strikers - so Falcao + Cavani would be cool... Maybe Studge will go - likely QPR if Arry has his way... Shame... but having Falcao+Cavani+Torres (backup - knee surgery lol!) would be cool... Be interesting to see what RAFA thinks our best formation is - I still think 3-5-2 BUT very risky in EPL... without a disciplined defensive team mentality... Actually, it would be 3-5-1-1 with 1 in the hole - queue pics of Mick McCarthy ...

Probably been drinking

@rmpr - yup but we are lacking firepower - I dont think thats gone unnoticed at Board level - and RAFA's assesment of the squad will definitely show how light we are up front. So I could see us trying to sign both - seriously, we are European Champions and unlikely to qualify, so something RADICAL needs to be done, this is not the time to sit back and say, we won the CL - end of story, we want to get back and Win it again and again, along with the EPL and other cups... So if he has the money and can meet the release clauses - then Expect to see them here, well at least 2 out of the 3

Yup Helen Flanagans boobs look great now - but in 10 years will look like Spaniels Ears... In Salzburg - you can find 1000's of hotter women - without EXPERT make-up... all with nice bodies and a good level of education... Same in Munich too - not really been elsewhere in Germany, but assume the same

Did it get results? Yes... Then there is your answer.... Stop confusing sentiment with desire to win AT ALL COSTS... That's why Schumacher raped Damon Hill - Damon Hill wasn't prepared to risk everything to win... like Wenger @ Arsenal... So RA decisions are not liked by all, but at least the guy stands by his decisions and if it doesn't work out he changes it - not bumbles on for 7+ years without a trophy... Football is about results - RDM couldn't produce, so we got lucky in the first few games - but since then we have been COMPREHENSIVELY beaten and outclassed tactically by ANY GOOD opponents and especially in Europe where we were traditonally strong... If you can't understand that, then your RDM bias is dialled on 'Overdrive'.... please reduce.

As has been said - Managerial stability is NO guarantee of Success.... Reference: Arsenal... Unfortunately for RDM - he was always 2nd choice and nobody in the Board, really believed he had the ability to take the team forward. In all honesty, I have to say I agree with them - my heart hoped he would, my mind said otherwise. We basically found ourselves in the same position as WBA. No defence, no Plan B - no tactics and it wasn't great... We basically relied on Mata, Oscar and Hazard to win us games, not formations or tactics, just individual brilliance - and when the guys could no longer sustain this (as is reasonable) - we started slipping up... And then the players were attacked for poor performances... But it's clear to see we had little organisation, no defined way of playing and no way to break down a tough opponent. So - say what you want about RA - but his responsibility is to give CFC the best tools at their disposal, unfortunately, RDM was a square peg in a round hole. I am truly sorry for RDM - and if he could have stayed Assistant Manager, and learnt from someone more experienced that would have been an ideal situation, but unfortunately life is not like that.
-
Lol either Arry or RDM But smart money is on Arry - looks like the Ukraine deal got Fernandez on the back foot - shrewd move by Redknapps agent I also guess Fernandez didn't want to be the first person to fire a Manager in EPL - so he rode on the back of RA
-
LOL - so you haven't considered 4-4-2 then? You can play 2 strikers at once Or maybe 3-5-2
-
Good for them - we don't need him here, fantastic player and servant, but we need to look to the future not the past... 1 month loan deal will hinder our development in a crucial period - it will likely disrupt our playing style, which will then have to be adapted post Drogba... Love the guy, but happy for him and us if he does go to Juve for a loan spell before Africa Cup of Nations... Unfortunately, we're not Arsenal and he's not Henry, that can fit straight back into the Arsenal style of play... Actually, THANK FUCK we're not ARSENAL
-
Well didn't take FERGIE long... he's just pissed off that RDM has gone and now RAFA is here - FERGIE obviously fears RAFA far more than he did RDM... FERGIE now knows, this is a 3 horse race and his stuttering, patched up Utd side will be lucky to finish 3rd... That's what I'm surmising from his outburst... Haha after 24 hours in charge, OLD BIG NOSE is already bottling it

Sigh.... FFP is not a concern... Amortising player transfers over X years solves that problem. YES - I don't think it's unreasonable to have players on the bench, especially if ROTATED correctly. And - WE NEED A PLAN B - something RDM was incapable of implementing... You cant always use 4-2-3-1... So having QUALITY options to change that is what makes a GOOD team GREAT! What's with the negativity here?
-
Why is it impossible? RA is probably looking at City and thinking if I buy both, that limits 'their' options... You've seen whats happened over the past few days, yet you still refuse to believe that 'Anything' can and usually 'does' happen @ CFC LOL!
-
Torres has been linked as moving to Atletico So essentially it's 2 extra strikers - isn't this what people were complaining about? Lack of depth? Unfortunately, think it also spells the end of Studge or Lukaku - but having 4 strikers like the rest of the Big teams is certainly needed...
-
Think with only 3 training sessions - it will be tough. But lets see - stranger things have happened In 2 minds whether to watch or go fishing lol - looks like last weekend before lakes freeze over for several months... Will still have Internet radio of course
-
In his defence, some countries spell it as Brasil whilst in England it's always been Brazil... Like Vienna and Wien.... Vienna to non German speakers and Wien to German speakers. Think you were singled out unnecessarily tho That's what happens when you're a TC legend
-
Anyone still think RA is a cunt?
-

Chelsea lodge complaint about Clattenberg

Still say fine big fine -
No I understand mate, completely... Don't know what else to say, but I loved RDM, Wisey and Dan the man Petrescu back in the day and can't believe how he has been treated. But that was before Roman - if Drog ever managed us and RA did the same then I think I would take him out with a sniper rifle... But RB is here - so making the best of it
