Think you should look at cup wins - it's been a successful strategy for us and is modelled on Italy and Spain's way of approaching management Ferguson/moyes and Wenger are the last of long term managers IMHO... This will be the future in the Quick Fix world we live in! Do I like it or agree with it? No - but that's life, just have to deal with it ...

Verdict : Professional, organised and focused. If he can turn our team into that - I will be very happy! He conducted himself well Haters will always hate: 1) he didn't sack RDM 2) he defended Lpool against us, that's what a manager does! 3) Without the Lpool hatred, I quite like the guy No offence to RDM but he always seemed like a rabbit in headlights - no killer instinct. Hmm - where's the difference from sticking up for your club and damaging it via protests? Your beef ain't with the club it's with the individuals responsible for sacking RDM because you believe it was the wrong decision, whilst they believe it was right? Ok here's a situation... Being a nice guy, respected etc does not keep you in a job if your boss thinks you are not up to the task. Happens to millions of people every day and is what happened here. As you don't have a crystal ball, like me, you have no idea what the future holds. So you have 2 choices: 1) support CFC as an entity and move on and get behind the team 2) stop supporting CFC It really is that simple....

Some great signings and some good profits Maybe Keane and Acquilani were bad, but CFC managers have bought some shite too! Some good players he signed cheap and are still at Lpool and doing well I don't think that's too bad, seeing as we have done that amount of money in a few years... Also lots of free signings - good bargain hunting skills

He had a fight with RA ages before he was sacked, IIRC. Agree RW wasn't handled well and would love Ray back at CFC we have missed his wisdom and youth work

You could argue the same about RDM, sacked by WBA and they have got better since... Roman obviously has an Agenda we are not privy too! But up until today, you guys respected him, try believing in him a little more...

He's great when signing players we want though? That's the trouble, can never win - do you honestly believe he's doing it to hurt CFC or like me do you think he's trying to do what's best for the club? I'm not saying you have to like it, just trying to understand your view...

I know people are annoyed at RDM treatment, but how do you NICELY sack somebody? The club have thanked him, haven't made any derogatory comments, all been civil? Can't see how else it could have worked? Don't say not sacking, as that's clearly not the answer...

So you're telling me Valencia winning La Liga twice in front of Barca and Real is not an accomplishment? That's 2 seasons of consistently outperforming everybody else. And RDM only has a small number of games and you are not comparing RDMs WBA record with Benitez! See how stats can lie. Benitez isn't the best but he did well for Liverpool and they are shit - so could do well for us...
